Overpriced and with close to 30 people still sitting around and drinking, they decided to close early because the manager had left for the evening.Makes no sense, they could have probably sold a good amount of drinks, specially because a wedding had just ended and a large group came up to hang out.
At 11:30pm on a Saturday night (when listed as open til 12am), this lame, overpriced bar told us that they can’t sell us another drink cause they’re closed. Disappointed!

Quite pricey as you’d expect given the location. Good drinks and service. Nice surroundings. A good choice for pre-show drinks.
They charged $300 dollars to rent an outdoor igloo. They don’t offer any other outdoor seating so this is predatory in my opinion if you don’t feel comfortable sitting inside. I’d highly recommend you go somewhere else. Charging to sit outside is the most absurd thing I’ve seen. Especially when your igloos aren’t even being used.
Never again will I go to any Watergate restaurant, after a few disappointing Top of the Gate visits as well. The igloos were billed as an experience that I booked for a special birthday- what we got was covered seating on a sidewalk with a very half-assed executed theme. The hostess was rude, it took forever to get menus (I had to come out and ask for service), we didn’t seem to have a dedicated server, drinks and food were overpriced. Bluetooth in the igloo was set up in such a way that our playlist kept being interrupted by what the other igloos were doing. I was embarrassed to have chosen this as a birthday gift for my boyfriend.
They screwed up my reservation multiple times in spite of my checking and double checking AND communication with the bar. The food was super tiny so two appetizers and 4 drinks were $175 ?! On top of the headache. So disappointed
