Wonderful establishment. Super friendly towards everyone, every person, families, etc. Overheard bartenders talking about an upcoming donation of a day's profits to charity. Just great people!Food is awesome as well. So many vegetarian options!
The courtyard is a great place to hang out in the afternoon. There are plenty of beers on the list, and it seems like there are new ones added every once in a while. My only complaint was a table nearby was blowing cigarette smoke in our direction, pretty unusual for DC bars.
There was a lot to like: Good setup, decent beer, great nachos. But the staff all seemed so angry and utilitarian. Literally every interaction with any staff member was cold or straight up rude.

Midlands is the best--great local beer, awesome large indoor/outdoor space, delightful snacks/a great bahn mi. They have TVs, board games, darts, heaters in the winter and it's generally a great vibe all around.
Our plane arrived early and the Airbnb wasn’t quite ready so we brought our stuff and chilled here. The smell of the food was amazing! We enjoyed the beer, the atmosphere, the food! A wonderful experience
We had a great time at the beer garden here. A lot of great beers on on tap and just a fun environment overall definitely will be back.
Stopped in to grab a beer with friends. They have a nice selection of beers available, and it's a very relaxed environment. They maintain several water stations in the place, which was really nice. Next time we are there, we will need to order some appetizers, as well.
Enjoyed this beer garden even in the rain since it has indoor seating as well. Good beer choices, and food was easy to get with large selection. Lots of sports can be watched here without interferring with other guests.
