Just the best in every way. The room is beautiful and dignified. The service is impeccable without being stuffy The Dover sole is sublime. Our waiter Ephram expertly deboned the fish table side. The rack of lamb was perfectly done. The pianist is charming and very talented. He entertained us the whole evening. It was a memorable evening and we canât wait to go back. In fact, we made reservations for breakfast the next morning before we left our dinner table.
Serene dining room so it is great for business meetings. Lovely decor. Seasoned serving staff and flexible menu for lunch.
Disappointed. There were literally mice in plain site running across the floor during dinner.
We had a delicious dinner with service fit for royalty. Each dish was served with a very nice presentation that matched the taste of the food. The restaurant was very nicely decorated and quiet and relaxing. We enjoyed an excellent bottle of wine and chocolate noir torte as part of our meal. The evening was pricey but worth the cost.
Impeccable service with exquisite cuisine in a charming dining room.
Given the restaurant was almost empty it didn't seem necessary to stick us in a corner at a two top beside of one of the only other occupied tables in the restaurant. The plant or fruit flies were very annoying. Quality and quantity did not equal pricing.
Nice ambiance. Excellent branzino. Wife thought appetizers were fabulous. Not the same old desserts. Enjoyed strawberry rhubarb tarte.
We had my boyfriendâs Birthday dinner here. Everything was superb, from the greetings of our server Pedro, soft playing music, perfect table by the window to perfectly served dinner( my bf filet minion was tender and juicy, my branzino was delicious, dessert hit a final cord on the high note:) Whole experience was one of a kind. Exactly what we were looking for to make this evening unforgettable.
The food and service was exceptional. The Lafayette Restaurant fits the definition of fine dining and the entire experience exceeded my expectations.
