Food was delicious and plentiful. Service was only fair. No offer for drink refills & our reservation was marked as a birthday celebration (my granddaughter) but no mention by waiter. We saw a couple recognized for their anniversary by another serverâso disappointing. Our waiter seemed more interested in the bar patronsâeven though he wasnât their waiter.
Great night at this place while visiting our son in DC. Nice beer selection and Best Paulaner Hefeweizen Iâve ever had- the tap was super fresh. Loved the Dublin vibe and DC history rolled into one and to top it off there was a nice Irish guitar and accordion player performing. Will definitely be back!
Food was really good and the live music was great to listen to during dinner.
We were so happy to share The Dubliner with our kids. My husband and I have had great times and this time did not disappoint. We loved the outdoor area off the bar. Our server Sean was phenomenal.
Great place for a couple of pints before catching the train home. The sheppards pie is pretty good too ?

The night started off really well. The server Joe was nice, or so we thought. After we were done with our food, no one had come back to tend to us. We had to catch the waiterâs attention to get our checks. When he came back he said that he didnât have time to split the check among our party of 5 because he was âtoo busyâ. However, prior to, he had just finished a party of 8. Then when he finally came back with our 5 checks, he charged us with gratuity of 6 people and threw the card holders at our table and told us to divide the cards amongst ourselves. We left frustrated and bothered and donât ever plan on coming back after that experience.
It was âfine.â I donât regret it, I guess. But if you are on vacation and making the most of your time, go somewhere else/better.
