Daily grill is the classic workday dining experience in DuPont Circle. I had a great crab cake blt special with my colleagues. Meal came relatively quickly and service was great. Will continue to visit.
Returned here again when we were in town. Good variety, delicious food, and reasonably priced for what you get. The whole family enjoyed it, including a picky eater. Delicious salmon. Huge chicken pot pie.

After going to Daily Grill for decades, every time we are in DC, we could tell things were off the minute we walked in. The vibe was gone. Customers were gone. Staff was gone. We were seated and eventually approached by the only server for the restaurant. Only about five tables had customers. I ordered a glass of wine. The server replied, âYou go girl!â. She was unfamiliar and had to write the names of the wine we ordered from the wine list. We asked for their delicious crusty bread and butter and were told they donât have it . We were very disappointed, as that was one of the things we had always enjoyed about Daily Grill. We waited, and waited, and waited. No wine. The bartender had one customer sitting at the bar and an almost empty restaurant. We asked the server about the wine and were told by her âthat he was making itâ. He was talking to his one customer. When making eye contact with the server, she gave my husband a âthumbs upâ. We discussed and got up and left. Never again!
Great steak salad - substituted blue cheese for the ranch and the meat was cooked perfectly.

Server was personable and did not act rushed even though she was busy. Fish and chips were the best!!

I had the burger and it was great. A nice mixture of seating options and the overall ambiance was very comfortable. The bar looked nice though I did not drink on that visit. I would return to this location.
