Found this place while searching for restaurants that served Chicken with basil with fried egg and enjoyed every morsel of their ka prow gai Kai dao. This place has outdoor seating and decent service even at odd lunching hours on weekends. Definitely would recommend their Kaprow gai kai dao for anyone craving that perfect blend of basil, veggies n spices with minced chicken, accompanied with tasty fried egg.

This has been my favorite Thai restaurant in this part of DC since we discovered them during the pandemic. The curry puffs are one of my favorites...You can't find then everywhere. Also like that you can dine outdoors if you prefer.

I worked close by for a week, and chose to order here 4 out of 7 days, despite a vast competition present. ????One dish i especially liked was the Drunken noodles with soft Tofu medium spicy. Never had that combination before, they nailed it. ?✌????

Great neighborhood restaurant if you are craving Thai food. We sat outside because the weather was so nice. Service with a smile. I ordered the Spring Rolls with beet root and tofu to start and finished my meal with ground chicken larb. The dishes were flavorful. My husband ordered a curry dish with rice and he prefers his curry to be spicy, so he asked for the condiments.Seating outdoors in front on the street, or inside the restaurant or order TO GO as I saw many locals do.If I lived here, I would come here often! Thank you Thai Pad!

Located across froIm the Days Inn. This place is neighborhood, tiny location. Outdoor patio seating and indoor seating. The staff were very friendly. Food was delicious! Nothing fancy, but it was perfect for us after a long day of being tourists in DC.

It was my first time trying Thai food. It was pretty good. But i did appreciate the fact that it was so close to the hotel.

We went to this restaurant only because it was situated across from the hotel we were staying in. It's a small, quaint restaurant that appears to be run by a father and daughter team, at least from our impressions. Their friendly demeanor added to the warmth we felt being treated at the restaurant. The food we ordered was great; but the best part was that the menu listed 4 grades of spiciness: mild, moderate, hot and Thai hot. This means that if you are familiar with the level of authentic Thai food spiciness, you will be promised the level of spice that you desire. The evening we visited was on a weeknight and the restaurant was quiet. But hopefully, their business is doing well because this restaurant deserves greater attention.

We used to eat there quite often but the quality became to inconsistent that we stopped. Now the food is either to spicy, or too bland. Sometimes too oily too. Last time the fried rice only tasted burnt that it was inedible and ended up in the trash. When you pay $15 for a pick up dish (before tax and tip), it is annoying.

What a nice lunch -- at a nice price! See a detailed review at
