The tacos were okay expected more from this cute lil spot !
Came here on a date and while I did not enjoy his company, I enjoyed this spot. The food wasn't the best I've ever had but it wasn't bad. The margaritas were perfect and the vibe was nice. We sat outside so we got to people watch. This seems like a great casual place to hang out before starting your night. I had their shrimp tacos with a side of rice and beans. Maybe I'm greedy but I could have eaten 5 tacos and twice as much rice and beans lol. Idk...but I definitely wanna go back and sample the rest of the menu.
I love this place! You know you’re in the right place when it’s packed on a Sunday and the owners are working hard! Our bartender Marco was magnificent! The drinks were original and absolutely amazing!The food? We travel the world and this is by far the best food and ambiance to just relax and love DC! Don’t walk here…run!
Israel’s matador is super refreshing and one of the best tasting mezcal cocktails I’ve had.
Only went for drinks but the service was great and the drinks were really good.As the name suggests the tequila was great and they even had mezcal frozen drinks which were very goodWe did get the Ceviche which was good but spicy. I love spicy food but it was unique for a dish that is usually light and refreshingOverall good spot. I would come back and try dinner if I was in the neighborhood
First time visiting Tequila & Mezcal with my friends. We had a great time. Their food was delicious and the drinks were great too (very refreshing).
Had a nice dinner at Tequila & Mezcal. Staff was excellent and knowledgeable, suggested a tamarind mezcal cocktail that wasn't on the menu, it was delicious. The three tacos I ordered were also filling and good. My favorite was the Campechanos and the Birria but the octopus was also good. Will look to go back and recommend when in Columbia Heights.
Loved this place the food is good and the drinks are even better....the service is great I will definitely come back.
Service- fabulous! They offer their own take on pupusas and they are DELICIOUS CHEESY food of the gods!!!!! They also offer more then the typical margarita, very interesting and crafty cocktail program will definitely return!
