As a Trini this is my go to restaurant for my food. I love Caribbean Market for doubles, but it takes a real Trini to make a good dhal pourrie. They now have treats like sugar cake, red mango and tolum. Teddy’s been around since the 90’s, they perfected their menu. It’s worth a try.
Absolutely delicious and authentic Trinidadian food. I wish I hadn't gotten full so fast bc I could not have enjoyed the food more. I got doubles and a curry shrimp roti & they were delicious.
Now I KNOW you guys are Not serving people this. This food was not seasoned At All!! Worst Trini food I have ever had. I agree with the guy a few comments below. Hire a Chef
Best Trinidadian food in the area! Portion size is great and the menu is just delicious! We had the curry goat, curry shrimp, bake and shark, doubles, bussup shut and the natural passion fruit juices! Highly reccomend this places especially for a quick and go bite!
Popped in here for a patty and MAN I’m glad I did. I ordered the spicy beef and it was the best one I’ve ever had - bursting with filling, piping hot, and fresh. I’ll be back to try more of their menu. Go here!
My mouth waters just thinking of Teddy’s. Everything is delicious every time. Gotta try the bussup and doubles. Patties are always fresh. Their fresh juices are all amazing. I will cry if they ever shut down!
Delicious roti, curries, and sides. Prices are high (reflecting inflation realities) but the servings are generous, with new management stepping-up every aspect of their friendly service. It’s a splurge, but becoming my destination of choice.
It is not a nice feeling to get a negative review as a business owner, however I do think constructive criticism is needed. Ordered food and it taste nothing like a trini roti. The doubles was more on the side of stew. Please get a chef to help create authentic dishes. Also your price point is very high for food that does not taste anything like a roti. I hope the owner sees this and make the necessary changes.

I went to this place long time ago the price for the food is a insult horrible there are much better Trinidadian restaurant out there in Washington DC then this place also check out the crown bakery they have everything at the crown bakery
