Visited it with two friends. Just order the food you want, they give you a number to display at the table you pick, and they bring you the food. Oh, you do have to pick up cutlery and napkins. They have tables outside and in. And right next to the Kennedy Center. Reasonable prices and a quick staff.May I suggest the Poached Chicken Salad Sandwich? Came with chips and a salad. Wonderful.Could use bigger restrooms.
If I could give them more than five, I would!Their foods are perfect. Its steak and cheese is more delicious than you think. They serve some vegetables beside your main portions. If you order French fries, don’t be surprised! It’s more than you expect. It was the first time I had lunch there, and it might have been the last. I was a passenger, and I’m not sure to have this chance to be there again.
There aren’t enough positive praises I can give this place. Simply great service and delicious food. Price point is reasonable especially for the quality of everything I’ve eaten here. Highly recommended for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
OMG this place is incredible!! The flavors & food are so fresh, I had the Baby Kale Salad, cauli tabbouleh, falafel, hummus and my boyfriend had a pizza which was the BEST PIZZA he has ever had..the dough was unlike any other dough it was so delicious.The vegan chocolate gelato was SO creamy and I was dreaming about it all night. This is a small, local owned business, the Owner and staff are very kind and welcoming. The service was quick and the outdoor location was beautiful overlooking the Kennedy Center and Potomac River. Please please don't miss the chance to visit here!!!
Clean and classy environment. Staff is friendly and helpful. Has a variety of Mediterranean dishes. We were able to choose from a variety of coffee options and gelato. Plenty of Indoor and outdoor seating. Parking was not a problem.
I eat a LOT of Mediterranean and I can say this spot has the the BEST Mediterranean food. The Greek salad and kale salad are some of the best salads I’ve ever had along with their hummus & falafel. When I go back I will definitely be trying the pizza! 11/10 stars this is a MUST TRY if you are in DC!!! Everything is so fresh and made with love.
This is a great casual spot to eat at before a Kennedy Center show. We stopped in before a Sunday matinee. They have a great brunch menu, and a wood burning pizza oven.I had a very good white pizza; my sister had a hot sandwich. The croissant sandwiches looked really good, too.We will definitely return.
This place is amazing, really. My partner and I live at the Watergate residence and eat eat too frequently. Lol. The food, especially the pizzas, salads and scrambled eggs with spinach goat cheese, is consistently delicious.Sitting inside or outside, every time, my experience is flawless. Inside, they play cool jazz music. Outside, the sun is warm and filtered with over sized umbrellas.This review is after finishing my scramble eggs and spinach with goat cheese breakfast. I'm very happy. :)Once flaw, the music has commercials. Tara needs to pay for a subscription to omit ads.
We were so happy to find TAZZA just steps away from the main entrance of the KC. It's a very pleasant place where you order food at the counter, and it is delivered to your table. The lamb sweet potato hash with omelet was plentiful and delicious, as were the stuffed grape leaves (rice only). And, the chicken soup was outstanding -- hot, rich, with nice pieces of grilled chicken included. The only downer was a dry, tasteless cinnamon scone. Highly recommend this place for a meal before or after a show!
This restaurant is such a nice addition to our visits to the Kennedy center. Pizza is delicious, salads are fresh and generous. Service is always great. Also like ending the show with a walk to there wonderful gelato stand.
