One of the hottest Places in town

Pastry perfection. So many options we had to come two days in a row on our DC visit. The croissant breakfast sandwich was excellent. The house latte absolutely delicious, sweet but not too sweet. Their regular iced latte too is perfect. I saw almost everyone grab a house juice, so we picked up a pear juice and it was like pear cider, so good. Wonderful service, they really focus on it and it shows. The line can get long and it moves fast, but probably not the place to come if you're in a hurry in the morning. Lots of great seating outside. Great spot to pick up a gift, wish we had more room in our luggage.

This place is a great plus to the city. If there wasn't a little unanticipated missing order, I would've given 5 star for the food with no doubt. We ordered 3 at the usual busy morning time so the pastry box started off just right until we found our 2 other orders didn't exactly go through so later we had to double check. After all, it was a good experience. The staff is super nice and friendly though.

Sunny and bright Ambience is delightful. The service is usually fast. Pastries and breakfast offerings are pretty good. Diverse food offerings. Everything from American, African, Arabic, French and other tasty options. They offer brunch all day. Only thing, the lattés could be a little richer; oatmeal options are quite watery. Maybe try another oatmilk brand?

Amazing place for food and coffee! Enjoyed panini, breakfast croissant, sandwich, tart, coffee - so tasty ? i will buy coffee from Tatte from now on and avoid the biggest coffee brand as it doesn’t taste as good as Tatte’s! I went to the branch in DC and one in Arlington. Both have a beautiful spacious design, with outdoors seating in Arlington. I’ll be a regular guest for sure :)

So many delicious baked goods, it was hard to choose. Thankfully I was in town for 3 days and Tatte Bakery was just round the corner from my hotel so I could go back to try other delights. Expensive but highly recommended.

This rating is for th new Mass Avenue location that isn't listed here yet. It just opened across the walk from my 200 Mass Ave office and I've been there three times in the last week already. Truly amazing food, either to go or table service. The breakfast sandwich pictured is two eggs, bacon and cheddar on fresh baked sourdough. I've also had eggs and ham on a croissant, and a turkey and avocado. All excellent. Amazing display of fresh baked breads, cakes, pies and deserts. Welcome departure from your standard deli offerings in the area. So much more to try!

Walking around the area and we stumbled across this gem of a cafe/bakery. The savory scone and the breakfast sandwich was outstanding. The flat white coffee was also very lovely. Highly recommend this joint.

Outstanding breakfast experience. The dishes and baked goods are all excellent. Great staff as well. Ate here everyday in DC.

Stopped by on a weekday afternoon. Very busy, so folks must like it. We got a piece of orange upside down cake. It hadn’t been cut yet, so we had to try. Very disappointing. Cake was very dry. It did have a nice orange flavor but was overly sweet. So we wanted to like this place, but we expected better for a $7 piece of cake.
