Pretty decent food and good service. Please do not waste your money on the margarita. You will be paying for juice. I had the birrira quesadilla . I am surprised it was made with corn tortilla, never had it that way. Would have been better if made with flour. The chips & guac were good (not pictured.)
Not only is this where my boyfriend went on our first date, Taqueria Habanero it's been our favorite Mexican restaurant, even two years after our first experience here. Fabulous margaritas. Filling and flavorful fajitas. Top notch all around.
Awesome food, decent portions, tasty, made just like they do in Mexicos good restaurants! True authentic flavors, we’ll definitely come back next time we are in DC!
Among the best Mexican places in DC. Not only is the place colorful and plays Latin music which contributes to providing a folkloric experience, but the food and the drinks are absolutely tasty. Besides the tacos, the tortas and the chilaquiles are highly recommended dishes.
Came for a Cinco de Mayo lunch feast and it was excellent. Memelas, tacos, and sope were all delicious. Meats were tender and flavorful (al pastor was particularly great). Washed it down with a glass from their excellent mezcal list. Great spot!

This is authentic mexican food! They even have cactus dishes and their flan is unbelievably amazing!
The most delicious birria I’ve had in a long time! Luckily the couple sitting next to me were also stuffing their faces so I didn’t feel like such a savage. Go. Get. These. Amazing!!
I had the enchiladas de pollo. And the traditional margarita. The chicken was tender, tortillas were just the right thickness and firmness. All the flavors were fantastic - well-balanced spice. Chips and salsas were delicious. Worth heading north for this Mexican food!
