I called a little before closing and they served me, no problem. I got the jerk platter and Callaloo patty. Delicious! Full of flavor and spices in every bite. I wish I took a picture before I ate it. I Will be back to try the curry platter and fried plantains next. Thank you for the nutritious and delicious meal!
From all the reviews, we had high expectations, I think the food could be much better. The meals were very bland! We had the spicy jerk chick’n and it was flavorless, the rice was also dry but the cabbage was good tho. The chickpea burger was also tasteless. And the side of sweet plantains were dry, and not even sweet!
They catered for my job two weekends in a row-- super nice people, super friendly to work with, and the food's incredible. Can't recommend enough
The food is constantly fresh and delicious, cashiers hands out great customer service. I like the cleanliness and vibes. I highly recommend this spot.
The service was terrible, no utensils, bad service, bland ital food..definitely not worth the the money spent..customer service from the daughter was terrible..terrible Ital food Rasta...Don't waste money Roots..
I absolutely recommend Sweet Sosumba!! Their food is healthy and delicious. I had The Remix, with the two entrees being Jerk "chicken" and curry "chicken" with steamed cabbage and brown rice and peas, also a side of plantain crisps and avocado slices.... contrary to what I expected, the food wasn't highly processed, and the flavor of the sea moss smoothie reminded me of horchata. I plan on ordering from them again ?
So so good! The curry chickpeas and jerk “chicken” were amazing. I’m happy to have found a new veg option!
I guess the food is good aslong as you don't go when time to close...no customer service what soever i ordered the curry chicken coconut rice and peas my food was cold and dry no fork or napkins I asked the lady for some gravy on my food she say no we don't have any and shuts the door in my face. Im traveling from atl passing threw and decide to stop and get food a friend recommended this spot to me its the customer service and the food for me I will never come again no sir! Take ya money and treat you rude as this food is!
