Great buritos!
Grabbed this togo as we were walking around the wharf cherry blossom festival - the Bloomaroo. We ordered the negril tacos (blackened mahi mahi) and added on a birria taco just to try. A little on the pricer side (18 dollars for 3 tacos), but easy to eat on the go, and portion size was just the right amount to get us to dinner! Wish they had indicated in the menu that it came with rice, but that was also a welcome surprise! I preferred the flavor kick of the negril a bit more. The negril had a complex flavor profile with spicy, sour, and savory along with the creaminess that came from the avocado! It was delicious! The birria needed more spice and it looked like the shell hadn't been fried in birria oil, but it was crispy! Overall, pretty decent, and quick service. Also lovely decor! I loved all the license plates of different states (not american)!
This placed came highly recommended. During my first visit I ordered carry out for a Tahiti Salad and to my surprise, when I went to eat it, it was missing most of it’s ingredients. No shrimp or bean sprouts. This is what I looked forward to the most. For as long as I waited, you would think quality control would be better. For an $18 salad I was quite disappointed.
Paid $30 for a taco dinner for two. The food was quite bad with a highlight of pineapple that wasn't ripe. And got charged a hidden "bag fee" without even being asked if I wanted a bag. After a year living in DC, this was the worst.
We really enjoyed this place. We had the queso and chips, Berrian tacos, and a salad bowl. All were very good. Service was great. I would definitely recommend this place.
I got the grilled shrimp tacos, they were decent and came with a good amount of shrimp. Good flavors overall. The rice wasn’t great, and I think the place is generally overpriced. Coming from the southwest I feel weird paying 20 bucks for a corona and two shrimp tacos. The atmosphere is good though and the staff were friendly. Food came out quickly despite the place being packed.
Love this place!! It's hard to find good mexican food in this region, but oh my goodness was very pleasantly surprised!! I got the Bora Bora tacos and they're so delicious and really filling! You get a lot of food for the price!
Love the fresh ingredients, in the Martinique Burrito, partcularly liked their yellow rice, and large shrimps. The side salad's dressing was so good, not even sure what kind, but made a memory. My first time, used a favorable review to order, this item.
This place has limited seating and is really for take out, either in the park, apartment, or on a boat. I got a good burrito and it came with a bonus salad, and when I ordered a small side of nachos, they served me up with what I would consider a large portion.
Great food. Delicious tacos. Very generous portions
