I finally got to try this place. Everyone got something different. Ribs & brisket w/collard greens, ribs, smoked chicken & green beans, lastly 1/4 slab of ribs & mac/cheese. Everyone received corn bread. We order extra jerk chicken, Italian sausage & wings. All the chicken was good, ribs were good, brisket was tender, greens were tasty. Everything was good except the rice. It was brick hard & stiff, not good. Overall, I would return but won't order the rice. Try their sauces too.
Review for the barbecue. Ordered a 18$ 2 meat combo meal with 1/4 rack (pork) ribs and moist beef brisket, that came with 1 cold water bottle and 1 side of candied yams, and two small sides of sauce.(+) Good quality meats & patient staff. Ribs had a nice smoked crust with tender interior. Beef brisket likewise was good quality. When a couple ahead of me couldn’t decide on what to order, the cashier offered them samples of the beef brisket.(-) Small portions for the price, considering the location (not downtown), even with the Groupon deal. Got 3 and 1/2 bones worth of meat for the 1/4 rack ribs. The meal on the menu said it came with a bottled drink, but failed to mention it would cost 1$ extra for anything else besides a bottled water. For the price of bulk bottled soft drinks, I feel like it should be included in the meal price instead of costing extra. Especially since cups of water normally should be free at a place like this. Maybe that’s normal for a DC location.Candied yams was mediocre. Besides the marshmallows and cinnamon on top, it was soggy and underwhelming, with none of the thin crunchy candied layer that’s in the name. I personally would have preferred it to be sweeter like a dessert (adding more brown sugar and toasting that), instead of tasting like plain steamed sweet potatoes. Also, they changed the menu recently. This means they no longer use older menu pics before today, like the 11-3 lunch specials they used to have, and have increased the menu prices. That’s likely due to recent rising costs.
Wow……pleasantly surprised by this place. I don’t give out 5 star reviews often. The staff was super friendly. The brisket rivals that of some of the best BBQ joints I’ve eaten at in the Midwest and it’s found in the heart of DC. $20 gets you 2 meats and a side. I got the potato salad with ribs and brisket. Ribs were fine. But again, the best brisket I’ve had in DC in years. Go there when in town. They also sell great boaboa tea or however you say it. You can order via Grubhub and Uber Eats. Place is so good.
Efficient staff, delicious food, and a wonderful marriage of 2 distinct food groups. It was also a delight to watch different groups of people share the space: one gruff old man shuffled in asking for, "do y'all have ribs" in contrast with another young man ordering a 6-step customization bubble-tea drink.I tried a hot bubble tea. The drink was extraordinarily sweet -- which may be my own taste buds speaking -- but I would recommend 1/2 sweet to your bubble tea order.
The horchata boba is soooooooo good!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The matcha smoothie is also really tasty! Definitely coming back!
Takeout only. Amazing brisket and horchata boba. Masks required and cash tip only! Groupon is $12 worth of food for $9. New fav spot!!!!

The brisket and chicken and mac and cheese was REALLY GOOOODDD!BUT...the yams and the rum cake? Not good at all? The Boba tiramisu tea was amazing...minus those jellied balls.
So I got hip to this unique Barbecue/Boba tea place via a sister of mine @khadijaknowsbreast . Yeah you read that right Bbq AND Boba tea…in the same spot!! @supreme_bbq_ and @aunteaboba are two separate entities that are fused into one place!! With locations in Ft.Washington, and Lanham M.D., I decided to go to their spot at 2 Florida Ave., N.W. Washington D.C., and I’m glad I got hip!! Both spots have fairly simple menu’s. Some items on Supreme Barbecue has your typical bbq proteins like pork ribs, smoked chicken, jerk chicken, beef brisket, fried fish, pulled meats (for sandwiches), smoked chicken and turkey wings, and Italian sausages. Their sides include French fries, collard greens, candied yams, coleslaw, and potato salad. You can get family meals ranging from $36-$67, lunch specials from $8-$14, even meat by the pound from $9-$20. So I copped their 2 meat combo meal (pictured-with beef brisket, smoked chicken, and their Mac n cheese $16.50), some bbq beans, and buttered corn (pictured $3.50 each), and their fried whiting (pictured 4 pieces $10.50). Their bbq beans and buttered corn were decent, better than average, and just good additions to the overall meal. The Mac n cheese seemed to be average, but I kept dipping into it until it was GONE. It was more than just American cheese in that…DELICIOUS!! The brisket and smoked chicken…STAMP!! Without any sauce, these two proteins were delectable!! Tender, fragrant, tasty…that’s what they were (past tense). I crushed them!! Now their boba spot has milk drinks, teas, smoothies, fruit milks, yogurts, boba toppings, and more!! So I went with their highly recommended Taro milk (pictured with brown sugar boba $6.50). This joint tasted like sweet cereal milk with gummy bear surprises at the bottom!! Absolutely DELICIOUS!! Customer service started off rough (I thought I wasn’t greeted), but ended well (I was greeted), this spot is clean, online ordering was a tad bit difficult, parking is readily available, and they had a constant stream of patrons. That’s it. #bbq #boba #brisket #smokedchicken #bigschlimsreviews #macncheese #bbqbeans #coleslaw #buttercorn #taromilk #delicious #stamp #decent #thatsit
I love this place! Great BBQ lunch specials, a variety of milk tea flavors (seasonal pumpkin spice is a must try!), and really great spicy popcorn chicken.
