First of all I am Caribbean so I know good traditional food when I taste it! This food was soooo good! Delicious and flavored to perfection! I loved everything, Even the guy who I placed my order with. He was hilarious and we had a few laughs as he fixed my order. This is my new favorite Caribbean spot.
Fantastic home-style food. Everything is made fresh daily from rote to oxtail to juices. Great vegetarian and vegan options in addition to plenty for the carnivores.
I was disgusted by the restroom downstairs. At 12 o'clock in the day before opening your business ,proper inspection should be done to insure everything is sanitized. The food was not tasty. The spiciness and no salt made the dish unpleasant. Not sure if it was just me or I came on the wrong day but overall I was disappointed by that place. I brought my friend with me and they also agreed it didn't taste good.
First, don’t hesitate. Just go. I’ve never been here before, but they were sooo nice. I never tried vegan Jamaican food before ?? I got some vegan meat that’s looked like brown stew beef and vegan mac and cheese with rice and peas. And that strawberry lemonade is 10/10
Went on Super Bowl Sunday and the food was so good. The staff are really nice and we enjoyed the game together. Definitely would go again. The staff were a little disorganized with orders but the food was delicious.
Trash! Disgusting! The wrist ordered stew chicken it was old dry flavorless. Brought that trash back and they offered Mac n cheese and jerk chicken. Jerk chicken couldn’t have been more awful. I imagine this is what the covid vaccine taste like
The vegan jerk and vegan Mac and cheese were so flavorful and amazing!!! Such great portions too. Highly recommend this place!
Great tasting Caribbean food. Traditional menu items include curries, jerk, stews… vegan options available. Must haves—-Bussup shot, roti, and fish … holiday treats —-fruit/black cakes are delicious, pastelles are savory so do good…and all the holiday drinks are delicious…sorrel and ginger beer are a must have.
I wouldn't know how the food taste.I have 35 minutes before the business closed and there was a gentleman with locks that was just putting the food away. As I watched the last tray of(full) brown stew chicken to get taken from the window. I asked is there still food? The man behind the counter said there "might be there might not be". It seems like he had a lot of friends or something to feedI did not eat that dayAccording to some people I know this is not abnormal. I wouldn't have this guy running my business.
My family and I have enjoyed the wonderful home cooking that this family owned and operated restaurant offers. I highly recommend the vegetarian options especially the creamy vegan mac and cheese, bbq, curry and stir fry vegan proteins, The roti’s are also delicious. Don’t forget to try the homemade beverages such as sorrel or passion fruit.
