Had a reservation for 12:45. We were promptly seated. Inside the restaurant was beautiful. Gave u historic vibes. We were soon greeted bu Noel with water an plenty of information abt the dishes. We started with the bacon jam deviled eggs which my lady loved. I had smoked wings. The white nbq has a ranch flavor. I dont like ranch but it complimented the wing flavor! For entree I had the biscuits and gravy.. could have used more sausage but maybe thats just me! The biscuits were so good.. borderd not done but were perfect! My lady had the rice bowl with an egg. Was way more food than she expected but was still pretty good. Over all I would dine here again. Special thanks again to Noel. Hia service made the meal in these post covid times when service is just not the same!

Great location and venue - delicious food and lovely setting.

Service was amazing! Food not what I expected. Fried chicken was overly fried, the shrimp and grits was the worst I’ve ever had. Shrimp was squishy and pork sausage (?) was not a great addition to the meal, it was all soaked in a butter (?) sauce. Corn bread was nothing fancy, but the jam for corn bread was amazingly good! Water tasted like tap water I would not recommend the place for food.

We sat at a table in the vault which was a great way to have a more intimate setting. The food was phenomenal and our waiter was fantastic.

Jose was awesome! Took care of kiddos so adults didn’t have to worry. Keith the manager was fabulous and handled our party of 7 smoothly!

Good food, lovely atmosphere, singer upstairs, a bit too loud but overall good experience. Waitress was outstanding. 4 stars****

One of the managers seated us and was very nice but we sat there for over 15 minutes and no one ever came to serve us, no water was offered or anything. We were sitting right next to the work station and yet no one ever even addressed us. We got up a left.

The food was decent but not great. Drinks were pretty good, overall just did not have anything to rave about though my burger was very good. My wife’s shrimp and grits weren’t great, just ok. All around just an ok meal but this is DC, expectations are quite high and perhaps that’s why my rating is so low. I wanted more and didn’t get it.

Food is good. Service questionable, our waiter rarely checked on us, had to get the hostess to help, it was the end of the day and not busy. Location and setting is nice. Music was live and good.

If you are looking for Southern dishes then this is the place to go! The food was delicious! The chocolate waffle dessert and deviled eggs are amazing!
