What a cool environment! I had no idea that most or all of the staff communicates with sign language only. It took me by surprise. It was extremely unique to observe them working and communicating together making coffees for a long list of mobile orders. They were very helpful when they realized I couldn’t sign, and they handed me a sketch pad to write my order on.

Legit every time I get something from this Starbucks there’s always some part of my drink missing, like the pumps of vanilla syrup. And it’s crazy because I’ll order it every single day and select five pumps of vanilla syrup. And it also seems like they more often than not have order ahead turned off for their store. I used to like coming here a lot until they really just started messing up on my drinks it feels like a waste of money. Save your money and your time get coffee somewhere else.

I've gotten used to seeing Hyo on Tuesday an Thursday mornings - Hyo is always killing the register, even when there's a line, she greets each customer in a genuine and friendly way. She also takes great care in ensuring that all parts of the order are accurate. Hyo really connects with every customer and makes me feel happy that I stopped in! Ironically, I normally show with my fingers how much cream I want in my coffee. The visual nature of this store and it's baristas make it the only Starbucks to consistently nail my coffee every time with the right amount of cream! Thank you to the H street Starbucks team!

I was with a group for school and after touring gallaudet, we stopped here for a quick drink and all i can say, is we where greeted with smiles from beautiful people. I can say, it was probably the best Frappuccino I ever had. They we so nice, patient, and helpful as some of us struggled to sign our orders.

Can't really say anything great about this Starbucks. The wait when nobody is in line after you order your drink is consistently long. I wonder what the heck takes them so long even when the place is empty it seems like it always takes FOREVER. It's always painful going in there cause I know that it's a 10 to 15 sometimes 20 minute ordeal, and that's when it's empty. Seems like no one complains because they feel bad or maybe no one lends an open ear...

In my opinion, the best Starbucks in DC along with the Reserve location by CUA. The baristas here are all super friendly, and though it might take a bit of time to get your drink during their busy times, they do a much better job on the drinks than most of the other city locations I have been to. Also cool that this is the first Starbucks dedicated to Deaf culture -- while I try to learn to order in ASL, the tablets they provide to write down your order are super helpful.

Nice Staff. But.. Sub-par representation of Starbucks Coffee drinks. They just rush drinks out with no care or respect to order. This drink should be: Iced Brown Sugar Latte w/Oatmilk extra shot of espresso, Salted caramel milk foam and cinnamon powder and caramel sauce. All clearly missing. 7 brown sugar pumps and light ice. REFUNDPass this Starbucks and go to another! SmhPS- I've been here multiple times consistently and have compared to others.

We went there once and the experience was AMAZING! It was in 2018. The employees are very nice and friendly and know how to use ASL to interact with deaf customers and communicate it with our hands to take our order! Very recommended for deaf people to go there because it has deaf university near there!

I am so disappointed in this order that I received today. Order this through Uber eats like I normally do. I went to try my drink and noticed it felt a little light, I took the lid off to see that this was all I had in the cup. I then tried it and literally only tasted oat milk. I’m so upset right now.

This location was pretty good until they changed the staff in the past couple weeks. Not sure what happen but its like my coffee always has be be remade and I'm still not sure if I'm actually get the shots of extra expresso I pay for and order everytime. I do know if its a technical issue or staff error. My egg bites usually are pretty good but today they were overcooked/overheated. This place is my go to for coffee and egg bites so I hope the store and regional manager sees this cause they need to step up their game.
