I tried to use the $3 off of $12 and it didn't work. Total was just under $18! But the Tennessee Hot tenders are excellent! Let's see how long it lasts...I ordered Tennessee Hot and got regular tenders!
Smash Burger is the bridge between an expensive McDonald's burger and Five Guys. I got the classic smash with bacon, tasted great. The smash fries were really good, I like the rosemary and garlic they put on them.Will be going back if I'm in the area again
If it were possible to give no stars, that is the rating I would give. This single star that I am giving is more than I was given at this restaurant. I was given nothing, not even any attention. No one acknowledged me when I walked in, or as I stood by the cashier for 10 minutes. The restaurant was not busy. I was seen by employees. This star is more than this place deserves.
I frequent Smashburger about twice a month with friends and the food is excellent. But, its like the cook doesn't pay much attention to his/her orders. For the last two times my friends and i have had to send back orders because it was not prepared as we'd asked. Could be a coincident but it kinda takes away from the experience when you have to ask for your order to be remade. It's like they are not really interested in pleasing the customer.
We went to Smashburger for our first experience on a Saturday night before a Caps game. It was very busy, due to the game. We waited for over 30 minutes for our food. I was unimpressed with the burger. They are thin and dry. Mine was hardly editable. My husband had a different type of burger, which I tried and liked a lot more than mine. So my review may have been totally different if I’d ordered that. If you have never been to this chain before, just know that the burgers aren’t good quality.
Terrible Service...first off I get there at 9am and the door lock so I knock and a lady come open the door, no mask on, I don't know her name but she had burnt lips and I said to her y'all open at 8:30 right? Ignore me, so ask for the manager he's name Joseph, they the only too in there and the door lock so I ask why.. he says he doesn't open the door until the first customer knock...WHAT! ...this is a business establishment not your personal house and the food was worsts....cold, taste like old grease. That will be one place I definitely won't be returning....it's pathetic
I feel really bad for staff management needs to step up they had 3 people working and they all looked miserable. They were doing their best but wait times were long and it took forever for our order the food is amazing and I love smashburger but something needs to be done this is the 3rd time I’ve come and it’s like this. (Update: went back to this location and saw a rat DO NOT EAT HERE I will NEVER be coming back absolutely ridiculous)
Me & 3 friends were all waiting to order standing there for a good 5 minutes and no one acknowledged us. Then after waiting for 5 minutes patiently a HUGE RAT ran from the kitchen area to the cabinet on the right of the wall!!!! Now I know some places have rats & it’s not their fault. It’s just DC but I DO NOT want to see them! 1 star because we were never acknowledged either. Oh & the floors are hella slippery!
Fries were eh..not bad just nothing special. However they have smash fries(tossed in olive oil,rosemary,and oregano i think) which we chose not to try so maybe we should have. The burger however was bomb. Grilled nicely not too messy and big. It was delicious. Thanks!
