I think like everywhere, Silver is short staffed. Took a while, 25 min to half an hour to get the meal. Waiter and everyone was very friendly.
I requested a table and was given a hightop. It was all that was left⦠It is difficult to cities and it made the meal less pleasant than it usually is.
We had such a sweet, charming server who was very eager to help, but the management less so. We bought a âpitcherâ of sangria, but it was really just 3/4 of a carafe. My salad was delicious, but the salmon on the salad it was so dry it was barely edible, and nobody came by to ask how our meal was
Our appetizer (bruschetta) and our entrees (grain bowls) were delicious. Service was friendly, but not very attentive. We had to wave down our server to get our order taken and we waited quite a while after we asked for water refill. Also waved server down for the bill. The restaurant was not busy at all, so not sure what else was going on.
I really appreciate Silver's commitment to local sourcing. My friend and I were both delighted with our different dishes, served with minor adjustments that we'd requested without a fuss. The service was speedy and professional, the tables and booths relatively far apart. I'm already looking forward to returning.
Silver is my go-to neighborhood restaurant. I like its menu, the up-graded ventilation system and pleasant atmosphere. I went most recently with two friends who are more demanding than I in their expectations of attention, special treatment and response. While they were dissatisfied at some points, I thought the hostess and servers were quite gracious. I tried a different salad (miso glazed salmon) than I usually have and found it fully acceptable but I am likely to return to the Ahi Tuna Poke bowl which has a more interesting variety of flavors. One friend was very satisfied with his burger; we all liked his fries. The other friend took her left-over salad home. I was surprised by the number of negative reviews for this establishment and wanted to go on record to recommend it.
The food was good, but the waitstaff, while very personable, messed up a simple order. The noise level was too high for us.

Manager said they only took horizontal IDs. Never had that happen before. Value is not good. Milkshakes are good though. Burgers were good but not worth the price.
