Stood in line only to find out they stop doing shakes at a certain time. The people in front of me had to get refunded because the cashier was even unaware. Would’ve been nice to have a heads up before I spent my time waiting in line.
I order the shack stack which is a shooming burger with a burger patty this is my favorite sandwich from here. This is one of my favorite locations.
My god - I still don't know what they put in these things but it is soooo good. These burgers are absolutely addicting and delicious to the max. Every component down to the sauce accentuates the flavor of the burger to bring out its peak. Fries are OK but it's all about the burger here. The staff was great as well and as I was traveling with a handicapped person they were very gracious in helping us. Every location I have visited always has the same consistency. Something I truly appreciate in today's tough staffing and stressful world. #stevensleavin
Usually the food (i.e. a burger and fries) here is quickly delivered and of quality taste. My recent visit was average. The burger and fries were were ok as well as the service and wait. I can’t say it was poor just average. I will give the place another try in the future hoping my experience was an anomaly.
My kids are officially obsessed with Shake Shack. They kept asking to go back. It was super busy, but affordable and delicious!

Saw a customer give one of the employees a cash tip. I’m all for tipping but the employee grabbed the money and did not change her gloves. I watched her continue to prepare food. Y’all need to be a little more cognizant of things like that. Money is very dirty considering it’s passed around an infinite number of times
The chicken bites were cooked to my perfection- batter was lightly coated and crispy! Sooo good I forgot to take a pix! On the other hand the dipping sauces were weak and the prices are too damn high! It cost us $30+--- 2 6pc, 2 fries, 1milkshake
Ordered a milkshake and was told they couldn't make any for the rest of the night. Had to double check to make sure I didn't walk into a McDonald's. But that cheeseburger was really good, as always.
Grilled cheese and their coffee custard cold drink was superior. Daniel and Brenda are very courtesy associates. Love their attitude. Fast and friendly service at 54 M street SE
