Shack burger was very good. Very fresh burger. Service for ordering was horrible. Cashier was too busy counting her drawer over and over again to even acknowledge us for a very long time. I understand her drawer was off, but to not even acknowledge us for far too long was disheartening. Restaurant was clean and everyone else was friendly. Strawberry and chocolate shakes tasted very good, but very runny.
Pretty good SS location. But the cashier messed up my order. I asked for a chicken sandwich plain. They gave me a sandwich with mayo, lettuce and everything on it. Also, the wait time for the initial mess up took 45 minutes. This is with 12 people working in the kitchen and 4 customers. Strange how chick fil a can push 50+ customers every 20 mins but shake shake cant handle 4 people in 45 mins.Burger was dry and burned meat with an odd tasting spice that leaves a bad aftertaste. I think this is how shake shack makes burgers in NJ too. If management is reading this, Red Robin has the gold standard for absolute best burgers ever made. Juicy and flavorful with a delicious bun. Match RRs burgers and you will have a 5 star rating from me.Fries were good.Chicken sandwich was good, but not as good as cfa, popeyes or wendys. About equal with mcd's.Iced tea was good. Better than mcd's, but not as good as Red Robins raspberry tea.Prices are way too high especially for burned dry burgers. For less than this price i can get a much tastier meal at Red Robin, Burger King, or Boston Market. Our meal today came to more than $60 for 4 meals with 3 drinks.Restroom was nasty with wet pee on floor, used surgical gloves on floor, dried pee on toilet seat, dirty toilet paper on floor, dirty diaper paper left on changing table. But it was a lot cleaner than a public port-q-potty.Caution! If you eat in the outside dinning area using the back exit, the door will lock on you and trap you outside with the only way back inside will be through the front door. Also, if u eat in the outside dinning area, random pedestrians will walk through the seating area as a shortcut to walk around the block. This is dangerous since i saw 4 homeless panhandlers/drug addicts loitering in this area asking for money while people are sitting and eating. Not sure if there are theft crimes here, but probably safer to eat inside.Pros:Pretty good chicken sandwichLots of seating insideLots of employeesPlastic straws (plant based, way better than paper)Fries and buns are tastyIced tea is okFree waterCons:Way too expensive for what u getSuper slow food prep time, especially given they have 12 plus working the kitchenDisgusting dirty restroomBack door to outdoor dinning locks u outUnsafe outdoor dinningHomeless/panhandlers/addicts loiteringBurgers are burnt and dry w/bad aftertasteAbsolutely no free parking and good luck finding any parking available nearbyCashier messed up my simple order (plain - it means nothing but meat and bread.. he put everything on it)Cashier also messed up 2 other customer orders while i was waiting 45 mins for my food.
I ordered a large vanilla milkshake 20 minutes ago and still nothing. At least 10-15 people sitting around waiting as well. It’s hard to imagine not being able to prioritize making a milkshake over full orders of food. People behind the counter could care less. The guy giving out the food is trying hard at least.Update, take a look at the picture to see the milkshake that I was handed after waiting 25 minutes.
Last night 04/21/22 I got off work late & wanted to enjoy the little bit of weekend time we had left in the city. We didn't realize that everything closed fairly early! We tried to make it to various location but had no luck. We came here and it was closing time as well. I wanted to shout out the staff and team members because they were kind enough to let us be the last customer even after the doors were locked. After a long and busy day I know they were ready to go home but they cared for my son and made our meals. Which he crushed by the way, he was happy and so were we. The food was fresh, tasty and made with love. We are forever grateful and will always remember that experience. Please recognize the staff for their kindness and hard work <3
In town for the Ashe show at the 9:30 Club (amazing concert by the way) - Shake Shack is close to the Viceroy hotel and double cheeseburgers ? sounded good. Strawberry ? milkshake was perfect.
Ordered 26 burgers and 16 orders of French fries for a company party and they showed. Up.Great customer service and speedy at that! Without hesitation they got all hands on deck and we were in and out in about 10min. Awesome job! Cashier was super pleasant as well!
Tried to order from the website. Got an error message that my order could not be processed but they charged my card anyway. Fraudulent!EDIT: We walked to the restaurant after posting this and the manager told us that the order had been made and sent out for delivery. It's an hour later and the food still hasn't shown up. My wife has now walked back to the restaurant to see what the deal is.WHAT A SHITSHOW!
Uber service takes forever. My order was being prepped for over an hour. All three orders of fries were *not* in the bag. The two burgers (one veggie one beef) were smushed together in one carton. This is the second and final time. Honestly just don’t deliver to my area if it can’t be done right.
Restaurant has a lot of staff working but the are not capable of making orders quicky to keep costumers happy. They do not care about customer service...They have no sense of urgency and delivery drivers waiting as well for a long time (over 30 minutes on a order). SMH. Horrible Place
We did a pickup order thru the shake shack app. Burgers, fries, shakes, and drinks. The process was pretty smooth and easy. The food was great, but when I got back to my hotel; there was no straws, no napkins, no ketchup. The bag was sealed shut with a sticker when I picked it up so it was impossible to see what was in the bag without testing of the seal.Good food, disappointing experience.
