I went for my birthday on 8/7. We got the Tasting Menu and a few cocktails and wine. I was blown away from the service to the progression of each course. It was absolutely spectacular.Everyone in the restaurant; treated you as if you were the most important patron in the world. The service definitely elevated the overall experience. We will definitely be back, sooner than later!
I had one of the best meals of my life at this restaurant. Incredible flavors, beautiful presentation, rich tastes and colors. Creative combinations. The restaurant feels cozy yet elegant and has impeccable service. I absolutely loved it and highly recommend!
Great food and awesome service! I opted for a la carte and felt satisfied after a drink, two courses and dessert. My table of four all ordered drinks, two or three courses, and dessert, and sampled each other's dishes. I scraped each dish, especially the pork belly, clean. We all had great things to say about their meal, but special shout out to the staff who were all pleasant and attentive. I'd love to come back and celebrate during another special occasion.
We reserved the chef’s table to host clients and the entire experience was exceptional. The tasting menu consisted of 6 courses that were beautifully presented and we opted to add on the wine pairing for each course.The food was absolutely impeccable, and the level of service that we received was simply unmatched. The 7 Reason’s team were warm, attentive and pulled out every stop to make sure we had a top-notch experience. The Chef-Owner came out ahead of service to greet and thank us for dining with his team for the evening. They went above and beyond to accommodate food allergies and preferences, and even made sure to include different mocktails for me with each course since I don’t drink.Our clients kept asking how we found this place, and were blown away with the experience. 10 out 10 will return and would recommend. Thank you to the entire 7 Reasons team for making it easy for us to impress and entertain our clients!
Amazing experience - great food, cocktails, and service! We tried the a la carte items and loved the arepas, scallops, halibut and short rib! Our favorite cocktails were the Bourbon Street and the Mule. Next time we are in DC, we plan on trying the chef’s tasting menu! I so love this restaurant. The food is amazing. The drinks take another level y and the service is awesome. I will for sure come back when visit DC again.
My date took me here for his birthday dinner and it was excellent in terms of food and service! Food - loved the scallop curry dish and the cauliflower soup shot dish. My third favorite dish was the hamachi tiradito dish. It was buttery and just plain good. I don’t drink so I enjoyed the mocktails as well. My favorite was the limonada personally with the ginger beer. Service- excellent service with food descriptions, silverware changes, checking in on you, offering best ways to eat the food, and just professional, warm and friendly. Fine dining without the stiffness. Vibe - nice music and great to sit at the chefs table watching the kitchen in action. Bathroom- clean and nice soap as well. Overall, this is a true foodie restaurant experience to enjoy. I would recommend this place!
The food was good overall, the service solid. I wanted to enjoy this place. But I lost my appetite when I realized that all of the shrimp served in the Mamposteao Rice hadn't been even somewhat deveined; it was disgusting. I hope this was a fluke, but I can't recommend others dine here knowing what I experienced.
We did the chefs tasting and everything exceeded expectations! My most favorite were the scallops, they were incredible and just melted in your mouth.
