Vegan cuisine very tasty with plenty of wonderful recipes that'll make a person like me that's not vegan want to eat there all the time ?

Always a go-to for good vegan take-out! I like the food and the community the shops and works here. The best French fries. I really like their avocado sandwich on a spinach wrap. I like their fried chicken with potato salad and kale. I enjoy their steak and cheese, which is a lot to consume. Their drinks are good. Nothing is too greasy or saturated in anything, or over seasoned. Just all-around very very good to eat their. Plus there is a nice seating area in the back outside. Please go and get this good food made by good people with good energy!

No major changes in appearance since three years ago, yet for the breakfast grub is on point. Regarding the scramble, please add some veggies to it like peppers, onion, spinach or something. Would gladly pay more for extras if option. Customer service awesome!

Place is ok, service was good, but food was low mediocre. Mac and cheese tasted like water down Daya mac. Fried Cajun chicken was jiggly with strange oily aftertaste. Kale had no seasoning on it at all. Not even salt. I don't think i will be going back there again.

Was in the area decided to try them out . I ordered the chick-Un sandwich, plantains and Mac anything was completely bland . Worst plant based food I’ve ever had honestly in the DC area

I used to go to Senbeb all the time esp when they had a raw food chef. It's been at least 8 years since going, so since I was in the neighborhood, I came through. They didn't have a raw food chef anymore, which is cool so I had their greens, mac & cheese, and crab cake. My girlfriend had mushrooms, and yams. Crab cake was ok, everything else was super bland and underwhelming. The same with my friend's food, unfortunately. The person at the cash register seemed very willing to do her job but didn't really want to be there. The food was pricey and I felt like it wasn't worth it. Bummer. Used to love coming here. It feels like they lost the care they used to put in their product. The tea was awesome though. The gentleman working the register in the store next door seemed more friendly and customer service oriented.

It has been a long time since I have been in Senbeb Cafe. A friend of mine from New York suggested to go here to eat. I was reluctant but wanted to give them another chance. We ordered and both of us were disappointed. The food was very bland, over-cooked and definitely needed seasoning. The sweet potato side dish looked like it came from a can and had no seasoning. The Crispy Portabella was tasteless and soggy. Added to this was the individual behind the counter who had a "I do not want to be here" vibe and this energy contributed to our overall not so favorable experience. Now I KNOW why I did not want to eat at this establishment...it has not changed. The food is definitely overpriced and not worth the money they charge. This is unfortunate because I did anticipate to continue to support them but Senbeb has lost me as a customer...period.
