Something I really missed during the COVID-19 lockdown was Sami's dogs! He has the best dogs in town - served with a smile and a great heart. He's creative with some of his other products, too. Ask about his Cousin Special.
My wife and I from Missouri. We dropped by Sami’s today because of the reviews on here, and man, it absolutely deserves 5 stars and more. Sami is super friendly! The hotdogs are FANTASTIC! And it’s all very affordable. Sami could easily open a restaurant but instead he chooses to remain faithful each day to his stand where he’s been for 30 years. I would recommend Sami’s to anyone interested in solid food and friendly faces at an incredible price. Thank you, Sami. You added to a great delight to our anniversary trip!
Sami’s half-smokes are the BEST! I was privileged to work in DC for 28 years and Sami was always a favorite stop for a quick simple lunch . . . A dog, some chips and soda. Sami fixed it the way I liked it - and seemed to have every ingredient you would ever want.

Sammy is one of the kindest vendors you'll ever meet out on the streets here in DC. If he could give away the food for free he would gladly do so. Definitely a rare man -God didn't make many like him
$2.5 for a half smoke. Much better and cheaper than the tourist traps on the lawn. Worth the walk a block out
