Food was decent and extremely affordable the only star lost was due to the restaurant not accepting electronic payment they deal in cash only however they do have an ATM there if you don’t mind paying the ATM and bank fees to make a withdraw

While the food was hot, My chicken breast was EXTREMELY dry and beyond crunchy. The macaroni was also very dry and pretty bland. For almost 13$ it was a bit underwhelming. Maybe it was just an off day, but based on what I tried I wouldn’t be back.

I was very grateful to have been served by the very best of quality and care and such compassionate church members! That I grew up with and to know the food was excellently prepared and most delicious and very filling! I would like with all my heart to thank the sisters and the brothers for such a spirited and full filling blessing of the food? And I also would like to say being the brother of my sisters passing! That it seems like they knew just what to prepare and knew How I would have liked it very much! Peace and Blessings to all of your staff especially ms lady her sister and Ms Annie Ruth and the lady and gentle man at the door with the sanitizer! Along with her heavenly spirit? I am very grateful to all of your staff!,and again thank you very much stay blessed and safe!

I have become a regular patron here. The food is good homestyle soul food. The church cafeteria is serving the community with their breakfast and lunch/ dinner menus. The prices are decent and the food is good. The ppl making it all happen are nice ,kind, friendly. . I usually see same people working so their dedicated and most if not all I believe are members of the church.

The staff is friendly and welcoming. The cafe is clean and the soul food has people lining up for more! It's a must stop when in D.C.

Very comfortable and nice atmosphere great food no matter what you get it's always enjoyable. Staff is very polite, friendly and ready to assist you with your order

Breakfast on 2 separate occasions was delicious. Eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuit, hash and potatoes were expertly prepared and then pleasantly offered by a coordinted group of ladies in pleasant surroundings. All at a very reasonable price. Make a point of stopping by.

The food is delicious but we have to do better when it comes to using a lot of sugar. The yams are the devil, had way too much sugar. Pretty much took away all the nutrients from the yams and I'm getting a headache... my 11 year old couldn't even eat it. Had to wash it down with water no juice.

Food is good. One critique- shrimps was hard.Lady at the cash register (I did not get her name) was not pleasant at all. Her demeanor did not display Christian principles.I will never return here. All the other workers were kind. All it takes is one bad apple to ruin the whole bunch. Hopefully she will see this message and examine her motives when dealing with the public.
