Friendly staff, decent vegetarian Indian food. Need to return to try their lamb kabob/wrap.

hought this would be a quick in and out order, and we ordered 20 minutes ahead of time, and when I got there to pick it up, they hadn't even started the order even though I arrived at the specified pickup time. That being said we ordered 2 kabobs, the chicken/lamb and the fish kabob. The fish kabob was a grilled salmon, which was pretty good taste wise, but it was pretty dry. The chicken and lamb were also pretty dry, but drenched in sauce it was pretty good. The naan bread was soggy. I was hoping for more crunch especially since they advertise as the best naan in the DMV. The chick pea soup was delicious though!!Good for something quick in the area, but I'd avoid the kabobs, I would try the currys next time.

This place is a hole in the wall but serves some of the best Indian food in the city.I’ve had the lamb chops, goat curry, and lamb saag and all of them were fantastic. Lamb was cooked perfectly and the serving sizes are generous. The garlic naan is stuffed and crispy. For sure I’m going to be a regular here.

My biryani was okay, but my boyfriend’s butter chicken was too sweet and had no spice at all. The butter chicken honestly tasted like soul food sweet potatoes - cinnamon-y and starchy. Would not recommend.

Probably the most disappointing Indian food I have had so far in DC. Got the Butter Chicken and it tasted nothing like what it should taste like and the Naan was really burnt. Do not recommend.

As it happens, Washington DC does not have the death penalty. But were I to commit some heinous crime somewhere in the deep south and found myself guilty by a jury of my peers and sentenced to death, I would only hope that it would be possible to somehow order the butter chicken from Sacrificial Lamb in Washington DC as my last meal. It’s that good!

Had ordered a delivery through Grubhub. Delivery and service was ok. Samosa plate was very good. 4 stars for Paneer makhani & malai kofta. Matar paneer & mixed veggie was meh! Not bad for a late night craving for Indian food.

This place is amazing and for the price (about 40% cheaper than any other option in a 5 mile radius) - it’s worth becoming your go-to option as well! Everything from the saag paneer to the dal makhani to the staples of butter chicken and chicken tikka, you can’t go wrong! Garlic naan is awesome and they have a helluva lassi in the fridge - on the thicker side! Love this place and hope they never change!

Food is delicious I did Uber eats so can’t say much. Delivery was Punctual and I asked for utensils which they provided So that was good if back in DC will definitely come dine in .

I told them I was allergic to tomatoes and they fed me butter chicken. Horrible people that don't care about your health and safety. Their record with the health department will reflect that as well.
