Swordfish was, sadly, bland, but the mushroom and brussel sprout sides were SUPER tasty. Prices were quite high and I didn't feel like the quality of food or service, especially, justified the cost. Interesting and upscale place, but no reason in this place stands out enough for us to ever return.
I didnt know anything about this restaurant and it was a really good surprise. I take the bread for appetizer and it was perfect ! Nothing to say for the pasta they were good. The cheescake was nice too ! I will come back for sure. And I really like the vibe of this restaurant.
A place for a special occasion.Excellent experience & Amazing Staff.It can be on the expensive side. However, the service is excellent, and the food is even better. I loved every dish, dessert, and drinks.
Excellent experienceWe sat in the bar because we did not have reservations. But our waitress Addison was so very excellent she made it an excellent experience. I would go back to the bar seating.
Came alone, sat at the bar. The bartender was extremely uncommunicative and seemed to be more interested in the dog competition presented on the TV than the customers. I ordered a spaghetti with shrimps and a glass of wine which were descent. But the service ? Oh … here I was up for a surprise ! The untrust level of the restaurant in the customers made them ask for a credit card in advance to open a tap, but as this was not humiliating enough they actually keep the credit cards of all their bar customers in a special “box” at the bar for their entire stay !!! This is the first time I encountered this behavior, but if it is a new trend, then it is not a legitimate one … if you don’t trust your customers don’t be in this business, and even if you are, be more vigilant, don’t ever let the customers feel it ! I entered this establishment in order to pass few hours eating and drinking, due to their so called “policy” I left in 30 minutes after finishing my initial order and moved down the street to “farmers distillers” who know how to treat their customers and from where I left with a smile second night in a row.
I wasn’t able to sit in the restaurant, but ordered takeout. Even in takeout containers, the eggplant parm and side pasta were very good. Leave room for the Bomboloni dessert. These Italian donuts were phenomenal. I’ll be returning when I’m back in the neighborhood.
The small pizzas have the most amazing tomato sauce very lite simple and delicious! You must try this restaurant when you visit Washington! Great service!
This is one of the best italian restaurants i have ever visited in the US, besides the fantastic food the service is absolutely wonderful (Daniel the waitress was an absolute professional) with great atmosphere around. I can recommend the white pizza, the spaghetti measball and the salmon fish for main course. It’s also worth mentioning that the food prices are reasonable - about 250$ for 4 hungry adults excluding alcohol. Highly recommend!
In a city full of excellent restaurants, this one was very impressive! The wine list, the appetizers, the service...everything was excellent. Try the carpaccio and grilled prawns, and trust the wine recommendations.
Food was good . I got salmon and mashed potatoes which was really flavorful the margarita wasn’t that good . The champagne was good and the waiter was great and I like how they wear suites . Oh my gosh the oysters were soooo bomb Only dislike is the cheesecake online shows it being on fire . And when you go it’s just a plain cheese cake bill was exspensive like $400
