Very nice place for chicken sandwiches. I was not disappointed. The sandwich was moist and they gave a generous amount of dipping sauce. There were also electrical outlets by the tables (a plus in my book). The people who were working here seem nice as well. Only problem is that there were no recycling bins for the recyclable items (as of this writing). Otherwise, all else was good.
Nice, but I’m not that familiar with the hot chicken style. This location is very reminiscent of a food truck enlarged and without wheels.
Decent take on the Nashville Chicken Sandwich! We like our food spicy, but not overbearing that it drowns out the flavors, and the only description the cashier could give us of the level 3 "spicy" is that its spicy. We ended up going with the level 2 "medium" spicy and it was just okay in spice. Next time I would go for spicy for more kick. The fry was delicious. The chicken was a not as moist as I would like, but still very good. We got the OG Original and the BLT. Both were very good. We got medium for both, but it seemed like there was less spice on the BLT than the OG Original, so spice amount was not consistent across multiple sandwiches. We also got what they described as in house made lemonade, and it was very yummy - although they refused to offer refills even though we ate in. Overall, kinda pricey, service was just okay, but yummy food and drinks!
Stopped in town for a couple days and I was recommended this spot, I was not disappointed. 1. I was supporting my East African people 2. The customer service was very good and 3. The food was superb. The chicken was nice and moist, the fries hot and crispy and they give you a good amount of them. Will definitely return on my next trip to DC.
As we continue our hunt for the best Fried Chicken Sandwich in the DMV, we come across our top 3 locations. This is a fan favorite. This chicken sandwich is always on point. If you have some time for a quick stop this is the place. They have 2 locations as of now but another being built in SE.
Better than Popeyes chicken sandwich. Really tasty chicken and toppings, especially the Louisiana Hot chicken. The business is owned by a lovely family as well and I hope they do well in the DMV area.
Sandwiches are amazing. The chicken itself just seems to be real good quality so maybe that’s why it’s so good. It doesn’t taste like processed meat.If you’re a fan of chicken sandwiches, this place will make you go cluck cluck. Or maybe you’ll go clucking crazy and slap the cluck out of yourself but if you don’t like it, you can cluck off.
These chicken sandwiches are ?. Sauces are ? . Seasonings are on fleek. The hand cut fries are delicious. Lemonade is good and sweet. The food and drink is good enough to ignore all surroundings and inside the restaurant. Grab your meal to-go and gobble it up in the car.
The sandwich was tasty but very greasy. My littlest child had the chicken wings. I could hear her crunching on those. They were very crispy. The lemonade is standard, nothing special about it. The fries were really good.
What a great choice for my first meal in DC! I got the Nashville hot sandwich, I got medium spicy and probably should have gotten the mild. The sandwich by itself was plenty of food for me. Fast, friendly service.
