Rita’s is so good. The custard is very thick and creamy and the Italian ice is great too. There are so many flavors of ice available. Such as mango, strawberry, cotton candy, black cherry. Also, there is usually a long line but it moves quickly. The staff is friendly and efficient. If you buy a pint/quart on certain days there is a $1 discount
My small serving was generous! I ordered a small because my wobbly rear end doesn't really need anything more. The young man who was working my window was very efficient and I, and the ppl ahead of me, were served before the others at the other windows. I finally picked the right line?? Always a great place to stop. I wish there were more tables to sit on outside though. #BringBackCakeBatterCustard ?
Excellent. I got the swedish fish gelati. Really good. A well deserved 5 stars.
I’m not sure if this location is under the same ownership but the customer service as well as quality of the product is no where as good as it was.
The custard I got wasn't that good. It's been a couple years since I've bought something from there, I think I'll stick to what I usually buy from there.

We are always excited to visit any of Rita's locations. We have visited several locations in and around the DMV area, including in other states. Customer service is always consistent, friendly! The custard recipe is consistent also. One topping we like and we are so very Happy that Rita's brought back the "wet walnuts"!! We know for sure the Rhode Island Avenue location has it. The "Blendini" and the "Concrete" are our favorites. Worth the trip.
For a Ice cream stand to be in the city this Ice cream stand server some of the best ice cream in the DC. area. It also just happens to be ten minuets from my home. My wife got me hooked on it. But I'm not mad at her. ??
