For a party of 10 with no reservations we were greeted and seated in 8 minutes! To me, that's terrific! All the staff wore a mask. They had us seated on the second floor. Thankfully, there was a restroom on the second floor. We were hungry and thankful that it did not take the restaurant staff too long to prepare the food for all ten of us. The food portion was a good serving size, it tastes good, and the prices were fair. I didn't think the lamen/ramen was anything excellent tasting, it was good. I personally like my noodles al dente; the noodles were not al dente but it could be because the ramen noodles are in hot broth. Overall restaurant was clean and inviting.
Great prices for what you’re getting. The Mai Tai is excellent and the soup dumplings were my particular favorites. The signature lamen is good as well.
The food here was so good, I'll definitely be back. We got smashed cucumber as an appetizer, and it was so refreshing. The sesame noodles were also fantastic. I really recommend this place!
My boyfriend took me here for dinner for my first time in DC and I absolutely loved it! We had Bao buns that were so scrumptious! I've dreamed of these since my trip up there ?? We also had pork dumplings and the pork soup dumplings that were the best dumplings I think I've ever had in my life! We also ordered milk tea before we left and it was delicious! I had strawberry coconut and my boyfriend had passion fruit (I think) his was a little on the tart side but still enjoyable and I loved mine!!
I cannot find good soup dumplings where I live now. So when I travel I have to try the nearest place. These soup dumplings were pretty good. Right in the middle of everywhere I've tried. I would go back for them. As for the rest or the menu I have no idea.
This was my first time having lamen. I ordered the Reren Signature Lamen and the Chen Duong spicy wontons. The food was okay. It wasn’t as tasty as I was hoping it to. However I do like the texture of the lamen noodle. It was worth a try.
Very disappointing. Soup dumplings OK but pork dumplings too doughy. The salt & Pepper prawns were worst I have ever tasted . More breading than shrimp and burnt . Bok Choy was OK Does not deserve rating !!
Great food. Busy but short wait. Well worth the wait. Attentive service. Good value for Washington, DC. Pineapple shrimp and Peppery chicken very tasty.
A decent place for ramen. I had grilled chicken Leren. The service was quick as I got the item in 10 mins.Chicken noodle leren : The broth was very nice and kind of carried the dish. The chicken felt very less in quantity and tasted very bland. The noodles felt a bit overcooked. Overall it is an average dish for the price. The overall quantity of noodles and soup is good.I was expecting a much stronger flavor from an Asian dish, maybe that’s why I was a bit underwhelmed.
My opinion is 9.3/10. Had these dumplings November 2020. and yes the impression is still memorable cheap and delicious ?. Check out my in depth video reviews on any of the platforms below. TikTok: TheUrbanLegend4 Instagram: UrbanLegend4 Facebook: Panayoti Kokalis YouTube: Urban Legend
