Had a great meal from Rajaji. I ordered takeout but the place looked very nice on the inside. I ordered the Mulligatawny Soup and Bhelpuri dish. They were both delicious. The Bhelpuri was a flavor explosion and was just the right level of spicy. I will definitely order it again.

Superb! Stupendous! This is my go-to Indian food recommendation in DC. All too often, restaurants dry out chicken breast in curries and stews, but Rajaji always has the juiciest, most flavorful meat in its dishes. The sides are treated with the same care as the mains. The rice is steamed and seasoned to perfection. The naan is evenly cooked and flavorful. Pure excellence all around, no corners cut.

The atmosphere is lovely. The food is amazing. The staff is so welcoming and sincere. It felt like a warm visit with family full of delicious food and great conversation with staff.

We went there Friday night and returned for more on Saturday night, simply because it was amazing. The wait staff was very kind and engaging. I would definitely stop in when I return to Dc. I wish I had pictures but I totally forgot as I sat down to enjoy the meal.Updated with pictures from our visit in May 2022. I took my husband along for his first Indian cuisine. He enjoyed it despite his conservative palette.

Wonderful. I'm not an Indian cuisine expert, but thoroughly enjoyed the varied flavors.

The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. The curries and sauces were so good, the garlic naan was incredible, and we loved the staff. So friendly and attentive, we will definitely be coming back.

Very fulfilling and filling. Attentive service and a variety of delectable delights.

We had a lunch on a Friday afternoon. The food was great, service was wonderful . I would return again when we a in town again.

Went on a Friday night, got a table right away and the service was extremely friendly. Ordered the Murgh Masala and Murgh Tikka Masala, both were delicious. Enough rice for both and they offered to bring out more. Rice pudding at the end was a great ending too. Highly recommend as a go to local Indian food, definitely going back!

Above average and authentic Indian cuisine. Very pleasantly surprised. The salty lassie are delicious. Definitely recommend over other Indian places, especially in this area.
