This is a nice place with a fun ambiance and a decently-varied menu. I have been there a few times and liked it for a casual lunch or happy hour, etc. On this particular visit, the service was off. We had to wait more than a half hour after ordering before we received our food, which is a very long wait for a business lunch. Also, one member of our party ordered a salad with the dressing on the side and it came drenched in dressing. She wanted to send it back, but our server was nowhere to be seen and, given that we already waited a half hour and had to leave soon, she just ate it as is (well, she ate half of it). I will still go back. The food is decent (when properly prepared) and the ambiance is also fun, as mentioned.

Food Was Good, beautiful ambiance.

The ambiance of this restaurant is really top tier! The cruising was amazing too! My husband and I went to celebrate our 4th wedding anniversary. I would say that when reserving, I was asked about any special requests and although I put my wedding anniversary, we didn’t receive anything (complimentary glass of champagne/dessert with “Happy Anniversary” on it, you know that celebratory something, which is usually standard at most restaurants once they are informed. The waiter even said “oh it’s your anniversary, I had no idea.” I found it odd considering I made that notation when booking this establishment. Could definitely do a better job in that area. But other than that, we enjoyed ourselves.

The drinks are not good but everything else is amazing.

Since we arrived it was uncomfortable, the hostess was not at the entrance. So we thought someone was going to arrive to seat us, the bartender started laughing with some customers that were at the bar probably because we did not move from there for at least a more then several minutes. Until we realized that nobody was coming over to sit us we stood there. We decided to sit down and spent around 10 minutes waiting for the waiter to bring us just water, when he did, he didn't even present himself or say hello, he just dropped off the water and left. Then another 5 more minutes or so passed until we were able to ask for the menu. At this point the bartender asked us to wait a moment to be served and all he did is go back to smoke on his vape pen. Then he entered the bar area again and processed to ignore us. When he decided to serve us we had already lost 20 minutes in a low-class place and we decided it was time to leave this place. I’m from Miami and I go to much better class restaurants where they serve and treat the customer with respect. I will not recommend this place to anyone for anything not even to drink water. The cherry on the cake was that at the entrance we found a ring and we thought it might have belonged to a customer who might have already reported it so we proceeded to tell the bartender and gave it to him thinking he might know if someone already had asked for it. What he did next instead of talking to the waiters was he put it on his finger like nothing. This was the worst part of our trip, we left your so called restaurant and went to a different place were customers are treated as they should be and what a big difference in establishment, they are a restaurant. Worst mistake was in choosing a place to eat instead of a restaurant to be served. Won’t be back.

Most of the food was good, we didn't really like the mussels though, very fishy. A bit expensive but that's DC in general.

I wanted everything on the menu. Seriously, I left and felt fat and awesome.

I would not go back. There are too many other restaurants in the area with comparable food and much better service/ambiance. The food was good, but the service left a lot to be desired. Although there very were few people dining when we arrived at 12 noon, it took 5+ minutes for a waiter to bring a glass of water, then another 5+ minutes for drinks to arrive. When the food arrived (different server), we still had no napkins or utensils. We flagged down the server who brought the food and asked for utensils; she asked who our waiter was. Ultimately, she brought the utensils. We later asked for a re-fill of iced tea, and the waiter brought one glass for the two of us. We were seated outside, but right below the outdoor speakers, which were loud (i.e., you had to speak in a raised voice to be heard across a 30 inch table). We asked the hostess to turn the volume down, and then asked a second time 15 minutes later. She got the manager who explained that the music volume was controlled by the owners, who are in Miami, and she would have to call and ask them to turn it down. After another 10-15 minutes (i.e., half-way through the meal), it was lowered a notch, but still louder than necessary, and so she called again. This was lunch -- not happy hour -- and there were perhaps 3 or 4 tables occupied outside by 12.30, so the music wasn't important to the ambiance and, in all events, it shouldn't take 25+ minutes to adjust it.

The wait staff was awesome ….always checking in but not constantly bothering us. Tacos were amazing!

Went for the social brunch. A lot of food for the price! Did not enjoy the “Benny bar” but the other brunch dishes and service was great!
