I'm writing this review because I went into this location by way of the drive-thru yesterday. At first they gave me mild chicken when I asked for spicy and I had to return it. And once home I realize that my French fries were not included in the order. I called the store several times to notify the manager and even left a voicemail. When I went back today I was told that I couldn't get my money back but I could have it replaced by food. Well it's the next day and I didn't need or want the french fries. I just wanted a refund for what I didn't get. I was then told that I couldn't get a refund because they would have to refund the whole order. While waiting for management to come to some sort of resolution to return my money one of the cashiers rudely told me that I need to move. She didn't ask me, she told me that the manager says I needed to move out the drive-thru. I refuse to move and after a minute or two the manager came up and gave me a refund but told me it was from her own pocket. Just trying to get a refund was frustrating. And I didn't even get a full refund. A large fry is $6.42 plus tax and I was given $6. I won't tell you to not go to this location but if you do just make sure you check your order before you leave because you won't receive a refund if they forget to put something in your bag. People work too hard and to be told that you can't get back money for goods that you didn't receive is upsetting to say the least and I believe the owners and management need to find a way to rectify this for future customers. I will not return to this location.

Everytime I go. To this Popeyes it's terrible service I wait 30min almost and no one was in line terrible everytime I go to this place NO MORE I got my money back

I really liked this location before but their service legit deserves one star. It is downright awful. I remember employees were actually nice and cool, but now I legit see the manager and employees get angry and yell at customers left and right. Plus they seem to decrease meal sizes compared to other Popeyes and still charge more than others too, so keep that in mind. The food was still cooked well and good for the most part so I'll give it that, but otherwise avoiding this mess ✌️

This location always is missing something but at least it does have a drive thru. Get the red beans and rice or Mac and cheese. I tried the crispy nuggets recently with the mardis Gras mustard and was extra crunchy and flavorful.

I love Popeyes but this location is one of the worst. They never have appropriate inventory and have a difficult time keeping the chicken cooked and ready for customers. Last time I went, which was a couple months back, I came around 7pm. I was the 5th or 6th car in line and it took 35 minutes to get to the window. I get to the window and they tell me they only have a few pieces of spicy chicken left. I ask them what they have. They say they only have 3 spicy thighs, 2 legs and 1 wing left. I ask them to give me the rest of their thighs and 2 legs. They tell me it will be an extra fee because I'm asking for all of 1 type. That makes no sense because I didn't have much of an option. I ask to speak to their manager. The manager reiterates what the first person said. I say ok just give me the 3 thighs, 1 leg and the last wing. The manager again tells me it will be an upcharge because I'm asking for the 3 thighs. We argue back and forth. I ask her how long it will take to cook more chicken so that I don't get upcharged. She says 20 minutes. So I get punished and charged more because they don't have enough chicken to choose from. On top of that they are almost always out of hot sauce. A complete joke. Now when I'm in the area I just go next door to Roaming Rooster. Their chicken and consistent quality is way better anyway.

Terrible pickup experience today. Even if you order online, you have to wait in drive through line.At the end, they did not have sandwiches, did not communicate in advance, did not offer replacement, were unapologetic and asked me to figure out refund.

Zero! Ordered online for drive thru pick up, waited 20 minutes in line to be told they "didn't have nothing" just so unbothered to be apologetic or compensating. So sad, this is the bs that makes people not patronize black businesses or places with employees of color. DO BETTER my people ?

This is the worst restaurant I have ever seen in my whole life, i had eaten terrible experience yesterday afternoon ,at the store in : 3200 Bladensburg Road NE, DC. the food I bought was cold I couldn't eat it and as if that was not enough i was over charged on my card .......when i went back to the store to complain the attendant and the supervisor were so rude and disgusting......saying they couldn't refund. So terrible

Terrible, slow, inconsiderate serviceThe person that was supposed to be helping me was aeliciaShe did a horrible job and made patrons wait for a total of 30+ minutes while orders was ready because she stated "ain't nobody going to rush her today" which the two people in there was not doing. She showed a careless act of service toward patrons inside. On the other hand there was a worker that was busy cleaning named Steven that did help speed up the process.
