One of the best gelato Ive ever tasted thank you guys it was delicious ???
I wish there was an option to rate a zero or in negative. Pitango has been my go-to ice-cream place, since I discovered it. Generally the staff has been nice and patient, in helping you choose your desired flavors. Today however, there was a lady and at the gentleman at the serving counter and they were the rudest people ever. They did not let me taste more than 2 flavors and showed apparent annoyance with me not ordering right up and wanting to taste the flavor before ordering them. Because of the displeasure and annoyance expressed by the servers, I could not even chose the flavors that I wanted and was made to hurry up and order or else they wont serve. The place is more expensive than your general ice-cream parlors and I never had a problem paying 8$ for a small cup, but this with this kind of behaviour, they have lost a customer forever.
Good vegan dark chocolate ice-cream. Truly spiced up but bit too sweet for my tastebuds. Organic raspberry sorbet very refreshing but sweet.
Try an affogato with the cardamom gelato. Perfectly balanced and delicious after dinner treat!
Nice place to grab a gelato after dinner. The street was alive with people, the staff was friendly and the gelato was outstanding.
This hardly deserves the label 'Italian-style'. Keep wishing for classy international food in our nation capital, but don't look for a good gelato in this over-priced joint. You'd be better off with a ready-made pint from any convenience store.
Small place with a few indoor seats. Amazing flavors! So rich. Recommended to get the small and choose two different flavors. Street parking limited. Close to the metro.
My very top best in DC! Half the sugar and great flavors. I tried the hazelnut and my it was simply amazing.
We had the chocolate and lemon gelato, and this was the most fantastic gelato we had ever had! Definitely was worth the walk-by when we were looking for a late-night dessert!
The man scooping ice cream did not take any hygienic measures. He was not wearing gloves and was full on touching the ice cream with his bare hands.
