This location was right across the street from the Hampton inn on H street. My wife and I wondered over for dinner after a long day of walking the city. The restaurant was clean, quiet, and the service was superb. Our food was delicious as you’d expect from Panera! The price was fair too, usually restaurants tend to jack up their prices in touristy areas but not these guys. So head on over and get some soup!
Wanted to give a shout-out to the this DC H Street location, the Chipotle Chicken Avocado Melt was delectable and delicious! Somehow tasted better than any previous Panera sandwich that I’ve ordered before. Also pro tip, join the rewards program prior to ordering so that you can at least get an additional tasty treat for free(I got a chocolate chip cookie).
It was the best Panera in town! Not too busy, awesome stuff and great amount of food!

I need to start taking pics of the food I receive. I ordered soup to go and no kidding, they filled it half way up. Not cool Panera Bread..... not cool. ?
The customer service of this place is absolutely miserable. I drop a lot of money at this place do to work proximity but never again. Can’t believe I went back to Panera in the first place, food is over priced and not good. Chopt and other healthier options near buy, save your time/money.
It was an amazing experience being here. It is a nice ambiance. We were very well treated. The server and the staff took the time to understand the needs of diet and greeted and welcomed our option in our diet, which is vegan. They double and triple verified that none of the soup options are vegan. They either contain broth or cheese in them. They were helpful in creating a custom Mediterranean bowl by removing the feta cheese out. Very nice people. When we finished our delicious meal, the employee graciously asked can they take away the plates. I gladly said yes. Also I gave them the same feedback as I am giving it here. I said "I have a feedback, a good feedback. Thank you taking time and serving delicious vegan Mediterranean bowl. But it would have been nice if there was a default vegan option on the menu" They listened to me and accepted and said they will let management know about it. I felt good.
Today I opened my panera rewards card that you can get from asking the staff, friendly staff, didn't really need to interact with anyone because I used the self service ordering, the best part was choosing what I want on my alfredo chicken pasta, the lemonade was really good too! overall good experience
