OpenTable did not get my reservation to PJ Clarks were they did not have it at all. The air conditioning was broken and it was hot so we sat outside and of course they waited more than 15 four minutes to even bring us a glass of water.
Great waiter and fish and chips.
The Lobster Roll was so good. Connecticut style with just butter. I needed something else to go with my butter lol. I liked that I had a refill of water readily available. I alao had my eye on the oysters but didn't indulge.

From the second I walked in the host to the servers were accommodating. The bartender Jim was also exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant for dinner. It was one of the best dinner experiences I’ve had during my time in DC.
First time visiting this location. We were staying at the Capitol Hilton and wanted to see DC. The dinning experience was Everything. The food was Everything. The staff was friendly and I highly recommend trying something new on the menu like we did.
This place was excellent! Great menu and atmosphere. Recommend the steak and frites.

Terrible experience. Ordered Vichyssoise soup for an appetizer and it had turned sour (spoiled cream), which didn’t seem to surprise our server. I had one spoonful then sent it back. The server (who did not visit our table at all initially for almost 15 minutes) said our sandwiches were coming right out (lobster roll and club), as there wasn’t time for another appetizer. I had no problem with that and waited for our sandwiches to be forthcoming. 20 minutes later the server said “oh, I held your order do you can order another appetizer.” You have got to be kidding me? I said politely “just bring out the sandwiches”. When they arrived, the lobster roll was so chewy I had to use a knife snd fork to cut each piece of lobster into M&M size bites to get it down. My friends club was extremely dry. So he asked for a side of Mayo and another Coke….20 min later neither came. We were now over an hour and 15 min dealing with this abc waited and waited for the server to come to our table. I finally went to the bar area where he was watching a game and I said I need my check please. He brought the check over and said proudly he had taken the Coke off the bill (that never arrived), in addition to the soup. When he saw me examining the bill, he quickly grabbed it out of my hand and “realized” the soup had not been removed. All in all it was an awful experience.
Everyone working in the restaurant was so friendly and the food was delicious
