I came on a hot day, the AC was not working, the water was warm. The service was mediocre at best, the food was pretty bad. I ordered a burger, wanted it to be cooked medium, got a well done. I usually don’t send food back, but I couldn’t eat it. Got another burger that was done well on the verge of well done again. It was edible, so I ate it (don’t want food to go to waste). When we asked for compensation, they told us you shouldn’t have eaten the food... I mean they clearly can’t cook a burger, so throwing another burger, and going at it again is the solution. I will never come back again!

We were staying at the Omni Shoreham across the street and had iced lattes here every day. They were outstanding! Breakfast one morning was also delicious. Dinner was a little odd. Limited menu and not many people there at that time. Service was a little confused at dinner. We had two servers each asking for our orders and asking if we were ready for the check. My companions both had the coconut curry which they raved about. I had the Hawaiian flatbread which was just ok. Dinner has potential but they aren't quite there. I highly recommend for coffee and breakfast. Prices very reasonable. Cool building. Breakfast always crowded so make sure you allow time in case there is a wait for a table.

Delicious brunch! Excellent service! Highly recommend the chicken and biscuit and hash brown bowls! We sat outside and enjoyed watching all of the activity!

The food and service was spectacular! Even the eggs were good, and I don't like eggs. Also the water was good too lol

We really liked this place! Very unique choices. Great cocktails and coffee, the chicken and waffles were generous and the bomb! Their patio wasn't open for waiting service but they gave you the option to get anything to-go if you wanted to still use it. Got a mocha milkshake after because we really enjoyed the food!

One of the very few great breakfast spots that survived pandemic

Open City is one third of a Greek-owned Diner trilogy. All three spots are solid for good food at a fair price. Very Casual. Full Bar. No set vibe -You will see all types of people as a situations when you walk in. Always friendly service!Coffee and Tea options have a gravity all their own within the Menu; the selection is as interesting as it is diverse. I strongly recommend the Dirty Chai (I ordered mine with a shot of Vodka- why not!?).I have yet to encounter a menu item that is even remotely unpalatable. I will say Breakfast is their strong suit, especially for Dinner! :)

Great food and atmosphere! It’s a lively cafe, but you can easily carry on a conversation and there is enough space between the tables so you don’t feel super crowded around you. The London Fog was top notch. I also had the sausage calzone. The calzone was full of peppers, onions, and sausage and tasted great. A bed of arugula was also included with a great lemon dressing that wasn’t thick or watery and complimented the arugula very well.

A sister restaurant to the AdMo fave, Tryst, Open City mostly captures the charm of its progenitor. All day brunch is a huge plus and the flatbreads and pies are a standout. A great choice for breakfast, brunch, or lunch.

Love, love, the breakfast here. Ate there multiple times to try out the different lattes and entrees. The Hashbrown is amazing. No idea how they make it. The oatmeal is a beautiful display of caramel sauce, fresh fruit and well cooked oats. The server/manager Chris was a working force. Highly recommend this small cafe that packs a punch.
