It’s a take and leave situation here, no indoor seating at all. A little tight inside, but totally worth the wait!!
Literally the best fried chicken I have ever had in my life. The breading was so flavorful and the chicken was perfectly cooked. My mouth is watering just thinking about it rn!
Great food on historical U Street. Lots of options, pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste. We had, chicken, fish, beef ribs w/gravy, greens, mac&cheese, and peach cobbler.
Great Service & Excellent Food!! Worth a stop if you are around the D.C. area, so don’t hesitate if you are looking for a good meal! The deserts are also to die for.
Found this spot while visiting the DC area. Decided to walk almost 30 mins for dinner, just to discover the food was for pick up/take out only. Got my food, got an Uber back to the hotel just to dig in and find a hair in my shrimp and grits. Time and money wasted. I'm sure the taste was there as I had 1 shrimp the 3 forks of grits. The overall quality and portion size was on point, I just didn't get to enjoy my food. I'd try it again, but I would hope the staff cooking and serving ready to eat food start abiding by Serve Safe Regulations and wear face and hair coverings. PS, my companion really enjoyed the turkey wing dinner.
Amazzzzzing food, service, and vibes. Anthony, Marc, and Mo showed us so much out of town hospitality and love. Everything we had was nothing but delicious including the drinks!! I will be back every time I am in DC or even passing through. Please come and open up in Mass.
This place was probably the best soul food place i’ve eaten at. The servers were nice and friendly, the food was elite, and the vibe and music was on point. 5 stars!
