Ordered a Thai fried rice, was mostly rice, no seasoning, no flavor, jalapeños probably thrown in there by the Mexican cook because he likes jalapeños. Had to douse the dish in soy sauce to eat it. Staff is nice, but I guess if you want Thai food go to to a Thai restaurant, and if you want sushi go to a Japanese place. The Chinese “want to be everything to everybody “ don’t cut it when it comes to food quality or authenticity.
YUM! This place has an extensive menu and food was tasty! The wontons are THICK - they don’t skimp on the stuffing! The chicken dish had a kick and was tasty, according to my partner. The sushi was good - I wasn’t impressed with the avocado roll but the fried dragon roll was AMAZING! They accidentally brought the Godzilla roll so I tasted that one, not as amazing as the fried dragon roll in my opinion. Overall good pick - tasty and good service.
Food and happy hour was excellent. Great prices for happy hour and you taste your alcohol. Customer service was great. Definitely will he back. The music selection in the bathroom is bomb ?
Had Singapore rice noodles, which were tasty and flavorful. Not too oily. A little more expensive than I expected, so might want to try and get in on their happy hours. They have some awareness of ‘gluten free’ dining (roast pork is not gluten free) but I wish they were more overt in their menu about what is or isn’t gluten conscious.
We travel to DC a few times a year and have never stumbled upon a better sushi place, we’re almost sad we didn’t find Nooshi sooner. We had dinner here two nights in a row and while I can’t speak for much other than the sushi, cocktails and appetizers food wise everything was excellent! The service was incredibly fast and they were absolutely on top of making sure we didn’t run out of water as well as checking in just to make sure everything was good. Prices were totally reasonable and the decor inside was pleasant and suited the space very well. If you’re trying to decide to try Nooshi or not you won’t be disappointed.
Overpriced, cold and bad food. This is why is probably empty. Can find better and cheaper food in chinatown
I've been coming to this place for 20+ years since it was called Oodles and Noodles. Slowly throughout the years the quality has gone down. Today however was the last time I will eat there. I ordered home delivery with a substitution of egg noodles in my soup and extra egg in the mee goreng. When I called to alert them about my order being wrong, I was not even offered a credit. The person who answered the phone said, I'll let the chef know ! Aside from my request that I paid extra money for not being done, the spring rolls tasted stale and the curry chicken was an insult to every country that prepares curry chicken.
Overpriced. Cold and bad taste food. This is probably why the place is empty. You can surely find better and cheaper food in chinatown.
The food was delicious. The drink was good and strong. The service was great. I will definitely be returning
Amazing experience! Great food and awesome staff. Cooks were so friendly and one even helped me learn how to use chopsticks!! The owner is a very kind man. My family had a great time. Definitely recommend:)
