I just received my order from New York Pizza DC on Pennsylvania Avenue the food was cold and I chewed a piece of burnt paper or plastic that’s a picture of it down below, I called to tell management about it, he was very rude and didn’t even offer a refund. I will never ever order from there again, by the way I also ordered a pizza for my teenager he said is absolutely terrible he only ate half of a slice. So you know if a teenager won’t eat it it Has to be terrible, Because most teenagers will eat almost anything, junk food is their thing. This place should be shut down!!

Ordered their lamb chops and t bone steak last night. I'm generally very selective about steaks and this was absolutely worth it. Didn't have to break the bank either and it was great food. Definitely will be exploring more options from their menu.
Second time in the last few months that I received my food incorrect. Understandable that people make mistakes. All I asked nicely was to please send me the correct order. Its how you handle the situation. Seems like they accuse me for not telling them when I clearly said it 2-3 times. Then tell me it will take an hr with a bad attitude and make sure I return the other sandwich....Duh. Two hrs later still no food and most likely will not be bringing it either. What a rip off. The quality of food has really fell in the past few years. Will never order again and also do not recommend. Lots of complaints from our staff on food quality and horrible customer interactions.
Our first night in D.C. Didn't want to loose my parking space in front of our house. Didn't want to walk .8 of a mile to eat. Just got this menu in the mail today. The large Grilled Chicken Garden Salad was a good size. Vegetables were fresh. Also had the whole Philly Cheesesteak Sub. Wow, the meat was substantial. We also had chicken wings with the Sweet & Spicy Plum sauce. The wings were very tasty, but a bit on the small size for the price.
The manager was rude to my friend today, but let me back up. This is one of the few places my friend actually consistently bragged about regarding the quality and taste of their food. We traveled from a few counties south just to partake. On this visit, we noticed the man manager was there today. He seemed to be off, but who isn’t these days? My friend went back to the front. Punter to ask for honey mustard to go with his wings. The manager ignores him, and the. When he responded to my friend’s request, he didn’t even raise his eyes to address his customer with respect. That right there is the big issue. The lack of respect for your customer. My friend was told it wouldn’t be an extra dollar for the honey mustard. I believe he jokingly said he thought he had requested. The manger once again responded coldly stating you have to request honey mustard, but you didn’t so I didn’t give it to you. The manger used a condescendingly nasty tone and said this all without raising his eyes to meet my friend. My friend is not confrontational, so he took the honey mustard and said let’s just enjoy our meal before we head back down south. Now, I myself am not that nice because I would have marched his disrespectful energy because I’m always ready to return what folks try to serve. The manger was rude and didn’t even thank us for our patronage when we left. You made us feel unwelcome and you treated us with no respect or dignity. I wish I could have said this to your face, but my friend didn’t want me to speak on his behalf. You were nasty, crass, disgusting and unprofessional. But that’s a reflection on you and your business. Not us. Not my money. You won’t get another dime. And please stop playing all that black music, I know you take our money, but hate our skin like so many ignorant people who feel they are better than us, use our money, but don’t respect us. I see you!
Horrible customer service. They will blame you if they get your order incorrect. Happened to me twice and I should have known. This place used to have great food. Im now stuck with a sub I got incorrect and was told two hrs ago they would bring me another one after giving me a hard time. I even was nice and tipped the delivery guy well. Still no sub. Food quality has been getting worse and the menu options are not as good anymore. Dont recommend.
I asked to NOT fry my chicken hard. When my food came, I inspected it, to find the skin hard as granite. I then reiterated the same initial request to the woman with the long ponytail. She replied, " that's how we do it-deep fried. I wanted to say you should have told me that instead of taking my monies. I would have NEVER ordered that MARBLE HARD chicken. It was INEDIBLE. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
Purchased the 14 oz Ribeye Steak. Gotta a 5 oz slice of steak. Called them. They rudely told me my scale wrong. Then said they use measurements predetermined for weight. Nonsense. Cheating people in the hood. Think hood people don’t know no better or have a scale. Cheating Black people. Don’t order from here!!!!
