Horrible customer service. They will blame you if they get your order incorrect. Happened to me twice and I should have known. This place used to have great food. Im now stuck with a sub I got incorrect and was told two hrs ago they would bring me another one after giving me a hard time. I even was nice and tipped the delivery guy well. Still no sub. Food quality has been getting worse and the menu options are not as good anymore. Dont recommend.
Let me qualify this review… we arrived at the hotel and everything was closed. There were 4 restaurant fliers in the lobby… we were joking about the fact that these places survive on hotel customers ,not repeat customers and that we should not have high expectations . Well… it is almost comical at this point. We ordered spaghetti (who could possibly screw up spaghetti right) Chicken tikka masala, and butter chicken. It came with rice ( edible, lots of cloves… best part of the order) the sides were spinach and potatoes, chickpeas, both Indian/Pakistani flavored. Our family loves Indian food… but this was something different, a thick layer of oil, really, really thick layer covered everything. We could only imagine a witches cauldron of slop sitting on a back burner for days and days. We even joked that the food we sent back to them likely ended back in the same cauldron. Although we did not eat much more than a few bites we definitely had some strange activity in our stomachs. We are sitting in the hotel room writing this review thankful that we did not get food poisoning and hopeful that Gordon Ramsey puts this place on one of his shows.
I hate doing this but we ordered chicken tikka masala and let me tell you that what we got was far from being the dish I ordered. This red color chicken was embedded in a clear oil with onions, I tried one piece of the chicken and some rice but I couldn’t eat it. My son had pasta and it was rancid, couldn’t eta it either. They made us right by refunding the money. What I found weird is that they came back and took their food back, if we wanted the refund which is fine we couldn’t even eat it any way, I hope they are not reusing it. I will tell the owners to re assess their recipe’s and maybe offer less options and replace it with great dishes, even if they have to charge a fee more bucks for it. The fact that they work with hotels in the area can make their business even greater if they cared for what comes out of their kitchen but I guess they find their way being that guests come and may not come back and that’s why they get away with serving this type of food. Horrible pizza !!! I’m a life long New Yorker and it’s not even close to Ny pizza !!It’s a pre-made crust and not hand tossed, it’s no better than Domino’s !!!Really disappointing, absolutely terrible terrible experience !!!!!!!!!!
Delivery was right on time. Driver was friendly and proud of his food. We ordered Greek salad, Salmon platter and spinach & paneer with chick peas. The food was great. I would order from this restaurant again if I return to DC.
Order was almost 45 minutes past when they said it would be delivered to our hotel. Pizza was cold. We spent a total of like $75 for all of us. Delivery guy first said they gave him the wrong address. Then when we looked at our receipt it had the correct address. So he lied. And when I asked about having the wrong address he stuttered around and said traffic was heavy. But you never know what you get when ordering from out of town. I just went by the reviews and how it said 4.1. I would not recommend this place. I did call them and report the issues. The front desk person was nice to me. And offered us a refund due to no one was really eating the food because of how cold and late it was in the night.
This place used to be so good but they really fell off. Food isn’t fresh anymore and the portions used to be so big you could have it for dinner and then lunch the next day, but not anymore.
