Staff was very friendly and attentive and handled the rush customers well. We did not wait long to be seated and were able to order directly from the table. Food was great and I definitely recommend visiting if you're in the area.
In DC for a conference and searched for nearby restaurants. Saw this and decided to try because it sounded interesting. Everything was delish and if i lived here I’d eat here twice a week. Bringing some sauce home to share!
Thanks to Marie we had an amazing first Nando's PERi-PERi experience. The food was delicious, the environment was very welcoming, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely will be back!
Customer service was great. Friendly workers, but my sandwich - Nandoca's Choice - was not topped with coleslaw as described on their menu.Ordered to-go so I was a little sad when I got back to my hotel to notice. :( Garlic bread and chicken was good though. Got a side of mashed potatoes which was also good. Hope I get to try the coleslaw next time I'm in town!
The chicken is great but i ordered two drinks and a mashed potato that did not come in my order. I am not sure if that is on you or door dash.
I have been wanting to try Nando’s for a very very long time. Finally! We ordered the whole chicken and the wings. We also tried the custard tarts for dessert. I am not really a fan of the custard. They are ordinary for me. But the chicken and the sauces… those are a different story.I can understand the craze and hype about Nando’s and how they franchised so quickly. I cannot even find the right words to describe it. The chicken is halal, I believe, which is why it’s also a hit for our Muslim brothers. The chicken is very tender and has the right amount of flavor that will complement any sauce you choose. From mild to extremely hot, you can dip or drown the chicken in any sauces and finish it to the bones.Ordering and paying is through their website or app. Make sure you put your table number if you are dining in and they will serve your order in 10-20 minutes. You do not need to buzz your table after eating. The staff will do that for you. Hence, you need to tip. You have to get your own sauces, utensils, and fountain drink/water though.I have tried their juice as well. I think I ordered something with a pineapple orange and it is very refreshing. Sweet but refreshing.Credit cards accepted. For this location, and most establishments nearby (that I have noticed), there is security present.
Food is outstanding. Will be returning to this restaurant!
Food is tasty. Peri peri chicken was moist not dry. Great atmosphere and friendly service. Great first experience.
Portuguese is on of my favorite cuisines, I was so happy to be in Washington D.C. and see a great chain of a Portuguese restaurant every where in D.C.we ordered chicken, dessert and garlic bread. The chicken and the garlic bread were SO delicious. I hope they can open in NJ or in NY. Also the place was pleasant and they have a big area of different seating.
The chicken was so delicious with a variety of spice options; we chose lime and hot options. They have much indoor seating. For drinks option they have Portuguese beer and wine! As well as other non alcoholic beverages. They have pasteis de Nata. The staff is friendly. Also they are very clean and keep covid precaution practices. After each person leaves, I noticed they cleaned the table right away. They also have contactless food ordering by scanning the barcode and ordering online with payment. I really loved coming here and hope to return again in the future.
