For the very first time I go there, I observed that it is a very beautiful and nice place, it brings my memories to thinks about the Zoo, I could of been taking beautiful pictures there ❤️
This was my first time here. Superb service, decent wait time for to-go orders. The only thing that is missing on the menu is shrimp and grits option.? This location is a cash only establishment.

What a spot.Our son who is living in D.C took us for breakfast.What a pleasure absolute 100 percent genuine family running and working.Dwight was a gent and was delighted to hear we where from Ireland.It happened to be my birthday that day and both staff and customers made us feel like my wife and I were royalty. Food was the best we tasted and my dream come through of seeing real america and a genuine bottom less coffee cup. Great to see our hero St John Paul 11 pictures on the wall
1st time at this place, took a look at the menu and order my food only to be told at the end of my order cash only...smh wth ??♂️.... It's 2022 upgrade your sh!+ and then place some form of signage at the door and/ or at the counter stating "cash only". Doesn't mk sense to wait until someone orders to be told cash only... Glad I went to BROOKLAND GRILL (across the street) liked I knew I should've before evening coming to this place. Definitely won't ever be bk you can guarantee that sh!+?

Still haven’t found a place with chocolate chip pancakes as good as these! You know they are good when they only accept cash and you go to the bank just to buy breakfast from here!
This place has been serving Brookland since 1964. Great flavor. Affordable. Large portions. They are the best diner in the Brookland, DC area — hands down!
