If you're going there in hopes of their old shawarma, run away!! My husband just purchased chicken and beef shawarma sandwhiches for lunch, and they were such a dissapointment! The chicken was dry, chopped in chuncks, with no shawarma taste and menial garlic sauce (though he asked for extra). The beef had a sour taste, and it had more of the cucumber salad than meat! What happened to this place?! With all the shawarma options in the area, we won't be going back-save your time, money, and tastebuds.
Good food ! Have good options and menu ! We took chicken and falafel which were pretty good !We went there super late so was Amazingly busy ! Took about 35 mins to get out order !
Great for a quick late night bite. The manakeesh are solid and a decent price and the service is quick. Not the best falafel or shawarma in the area, but one of my favorite options for fast food.
Was told to leave because I had a dog. Tried to explain she was a service animal, and the manager (?) wouldn’t try to listen. The place was empty, so it wasn’t even an issue of being too busy to listen / too many people to attend to. Very disappointed, especially since I’ve been a muncheez supporter since it opened on Wisconsin 10ish years ago.
Horrible experience ordering online delivery though their website. food was an hour late and after calling the location they said there is nothing they could do but wait for a driver to pick the food up, to make things worse they want me to write an email to the owner to get a refund!!!!!!!!! never again
the meat probably was standing on the grill on the same side for too long. I got 3 DIY bowls. One of them had meat chunks that were like cut cardboard. And the other two bowls were not great either. This was at around 8:30 on a Monday night. How do you ask for them to throw away dry meat and give you soft portions? THey should pay attention.
This is a labanes fast food to order place which is located in Washington d.c. close to several bars and Thomas circle, prime location for after bar late night food place open till 3am while bars close around 2am. All Hispanic employees and don't speak much english but know only food names. it was bit difficult but was able to order. They make fresh for each order, very hard working employees and cook quality food as ordered. We enjoyed falafel on pitta bread roll and beef similar way , it was bit dry for me but okay for her falafel. It was tasty, fresh, quality food at 2am. If around do visit this place as good and fresh food with least calories.
Chicken shawarma and in was good. They do bowls too. I was still hungry after the Pita sandwich though.
Go to Georgetown. The servers are not middle eastern I'm not sure if that had something with the meat being terrible. The meat was so dry and flavorless. The be staff refused me a small scoop of lentils in a platter and one of the servers threw some tongs and pounded his hands on the counter when it was taking slightly longer to work out a dish with lentils and meat with the cashier. I don't even know why because you hadn't started a dish.Bad foodBad serviceGo to Georgetown
