This arepa restaurant is awesome. I am Hispanic and I have never tasted such a flavorful shredded meat outside of my house. So I congratulated the guys working that day for such a nice job. My arepa was delicious. My wife ordered empanadas. Delicious as well. I will come back to this place and La Cosecha every time I can to give myself a feast.
Place: Very nice and clean, located inside La Cosecha market.Customer service: Good.Food: I ordered a Patacón Trío, tree tostones of fried plantain with beef, chicken and black beans. It was good. The other item was the Pepito, it could be better, the bread wasn't the expected, and beef as well.Drinks, cane sugar and lemon was good. They have other snacks and drinks. The way the food is served is very good.Price: Fair. Patacón Trío $10, Pepito $13.At the beginning I was thinking in 4 stars, but the whole place is very special. As part of the Union Market, all the efforts for improve DC deserve 5 stars, thank you!
The empanadas are freshly fried and a pretty decent size. I ordered the cheese one which was simple and delicious and a beef one. I was not that impressed with the beef one but the sauce on the side helps. I would come back again to try different menu items
The empanadas are a must! This place is delicious z just like all the other Arepa Zone locations in DC. I miss it so much now that we moved to Colorado! You've gotta try them!
The food here is so good! You can never go wrong eating here. The pricing is perfect! The area seating and everything is so nice. The platano y queso arepas are worth trying:) #Withmygirls
The food was authentically delicious and deliciously authentic! We tried every kind of empanada and they were all great, the ajillo sauce totally transported me back to Las Mercedes in Caracas and my mom is now addicted to the golfeados! The customer service was also really great, a quality that cannot be overlooked these days. They also carry classic Venezuelan and other Latin treats (like pirulin and ovomaltina)!
Tastes great!!! Get some.
(Translated by Google) The food is good, but since I am Venezuelan, I did not like it, because it lacks the true flavor of my country and the filling is very dry. They just have to improve that and that the employees are distracted to deliver the orders(Original)La comida es buena, pero como soy venezolana, no me gustó, porque le falta la sazón verdadera de mi país y es muy seco el relleno. Solo deben mejorar eso y que los empleados están distraídos para entregar las ordenes
First arepa I've had and the bun was delicious, crispy, with a generous amount of meat. At $10 with tax, pretty decent price given the ambience and all, just wish they gave a little more sauce than a tiny ~0.5-1 oz plastic container.
The empanadas were on point! The arepas were delicious as always. A must try for Venezuelan food!
