While in DC the girls and I got together and went to this restaurant. When we arrived they said there was no indoor seating available in this very nice restaurant. Which by the way didn't seem to be the truth at all but we sat outside anyway. We were served by a very nice young man. I was starving so I ordered the chicken yassa. When it came out it looked delicious. I dug in and didn't particularly care for the taste. It tasted like a lot of mustard in the seasoning. I was hungry so I ate it anyway. I tried a couple of the girls dishes and the fish was good. The bill included a 20% gratuity. All in all I had an ok experience.

Staff were absolutely pleasant. Not really sure about the food but i would go again just for the drinks, ambiance and service. Our waitress Nankey was amazing.

The food my friend and I had was delicious, chicken yassa, catfish, Brussels sprouts, jerk chicken with aioli. The only note I had was that the waitress was a little forgetful, she accidentally mixed up my appetizer with my friend’s, so my friend had to wait for her appetizer a little longer. But the ambiance was cool, welcoming, and relaxing, and again, the food was well worth the price. The jerk chicken with aioli in particular was divine.

Go! The food is phenomenal. We had the chef come out and we all clapped for him - that’s how much we loved this place. The music was great, drinks were tasty, our server was so sweet. We I’ll be back!

Love Moi Moi, been there a couple of times and it’s definitely a cool spot to hangout

Came here for dinner, had high expectation on the food given the price. Taste was blend, nothing exceptional. $ was not worth it. We spent $130 for 2 with 2 dishes and 2 sides and 2 drinks (non cocktails)I wouldn’t recommend. They also charge a 20% charge fee regardless of number of guests.

Owner came to our table and was very attentive and made sure we had a good dinner.

To start off, when we arrive they said I didn’t have a reservation, then we pointed out my name, I tried calling earlier several times because we were running 10 mins behind to our reservation but no one answered the phone. There was a DJ playing music a bit too loud we could hear each other without yelling. Our waitress took our drink orders (mojitos) and our appetizers order (mussels) which I do not recommend. Our drinks arrive then the appetizer came out. No recommendations were suggested. We ordered our main course short rib & curry goat (they were delicious) the only reason why this place has hope (the food). Our waitress banish for the rest of our meal then I could order another drink. There was 2 guys wearing shorts and tanks tops (not uniforms of any sort) just standing at the door, which we realized were the one in charge of the hookah service. I had to flag our waitress to bring the check. I was very disappointed with experience, I was hoping for a better ambiance due the location and Instagram posts. I guess it was all for the gram.

We had a wonderful time celebrating my friends birthday at Moi Moi. All staff were attentive and kind! Jenell, our server, was great. They even sang my friend the happy birthday song! Ambiance and decor was lovely. Loved the DJs music selection. And the food was SOOOO good. Everything! Looking forward to my next visits so I can eat my way through the menu!

Brunch Food was amazing, a little on the pricey side if you are looking to have a couple of drinks expect to pay about 100 dollars or more.. 50 dollar 3 course brunch with an automatic 20 percent gratuity, so be prepared. Would love to return for dinner.
