Along Wisconsin Avenue surrounded by a BBQ shop (Rocklands), historic stores (Pearson's Wine and Spirits) and Uyghur food (Eerkins) is a small tea shop selling a diverse menu of...well...tea. They have milk tea, fruit tea and even cheese foam tea. (What the what?)If you love tea, it's worth a visit, especially on a hot day. If you have kids, start across the street at Guy Mason Recreation Center's epic playground and come in for a cold drink. On a Friday afternoon, I stopped in for a large milk black tea with boba. It came in a quality plastic long cup with more clear boba. It was over $7, but was tasty and refreshing! There are a few tables up front and a booth and beautifully lit table in the back near the single bathroom.
This is my family's favorite boba shop in DC. The drinks are good and varied and I love that they use fresh milk and fruit.Note: this is part of a chain and there are a number of drinks on the menu that are not served at this location.Their drinks are on the pricier side, even for bubble tea. The atmosphere is nice too.Brown sugar bubble milk: personal favorite. No caffeine and made with real milk. Dark brown bubbles. I would recommend a small, a large is the same amount of flavor and just more milk. Good hot or cold.Black milk tea with cheese foam: very good. the cheese foam is really tasty (although cheese foam in general is an acquired taste)Super fruit four season oolong: Another personal favorite. sweet, citrusy, refreshing. Bits of fruit and pulp. Very good with bobaOrange Yakut: Good. Comforting. No need to get boba with it. It's a good drink to share.Pineapple tea slush: Good. Refreshing. No need for boba.Mango Slush: good but hard to finish. Floral and slightly chalky texture.Brown sugar bubble milk tea: good but not as good as the brown sugar bubble milk. caffeine. Not very sweet (at least when compared to the bubble milk)Oreo milk tea: fine. Surprising not too sweet. subtle flavorStrawberry slush: fine. good summer drink. no need for boba.Earl grey milk tea: good. the black milk tea is better.
Really expensive for the mid-quality tea they served. Came here twice and was impressed by nothing but the price.
I was really impressed with the tea here. I'm glad that they have a good variety of toppings. I got the taro bubble milk tea with brulee and it was absolutely delicious. I tried the drinks my friends got and they were all similarly delicious! The shop itself is also really cute. I definitely recommend Möge if you're looking for a bubble tea joint in DC.
This is by far my favorite boba place in DC! Vegans should try the Four Seasons Super Fruit Oolong Tea! So tasty!
Really high quality and tasty. Menu is intimidatingly enormous and kind of an enigma - perhaps a better, simpler introduction to the basics could help guide newbies. Very tasty and worth a go!
I wish I could do 0 stars but I can’t.This have been the worst boba tea I ever experienced. The milk taste like skim milk and the tapioca balls was so nasty and squishy.I honestly don’t understand also how my man was disrespected when asked to be made another boba tea.
Worst milk tea place ever.Stay away! Stay away! Don’t come to this store!we ordered 3 black sesame mochi milk tea, we joked about the staff might not know how to make a milk tea because he had to call someone to figure out what material to be added. It turned out he really doesn’t know, and when we immediately went back to the store and told the staff it wasn’t mochi but some kind of jelly, the staff had the nerve to lie to our faces to say it’s a special powder like we don’t know what a mochi is.
9 dollars ? for this is invaluable! Suck
Really nice bubble tea. Their Taro flavor has actual taro in it!
