Great business. These guys know what they are doing. They aren’t faking it. They love it and it shows. I love shopping here.
Everyone in DC should buy from this place! Incredibly nice people work here and deserve your cash. Store was closed but we we’re in desperate need of red solo cups… guy sweeping out front was super nice and went inside to grab us some. Will buy from them whenever we’re in DC!
The prices are too high. The staff in-store are rude and screen their calls so they can ignore you. The delivery time is never accurate so expect to wait much longer than your estimated wait time. The only good thing about this place is the selection and the convenience. But there are other stores that deliver alcohol so I would suggest taking your chances elsewhere.

I just realized my car was billed $80 for a bourbon that you can get online for $40.Definitely got ripped off. Don't recommend shopping here. There are plenty of other spots in the area that aren't like this.
What Great service. I ordered a bottle a week ago. Could not find this bottle anywhere. I searched on line And found these guys had what I needed. My bottle arrived in plenty of time for Christmas. Thanks you guys. Merry Christmas
As others have said DO NOT order from this place from a 3rd party, ordered off postmates and they waited until right before my order was picked up to charge me additional fees knowing I wouldn't be able to cancel my order. Also after calling the store they were very rude and dismissive, not providing any clarification on why I was charged more and I was told to take it up with postmates but it was literally nothing they could do there than give me credit because Modern Liquors was the one who added the additional charges.
Do not use them when you are using a third party delivery such as Drizly. They literally stole my money, placed the alcohol as delivered on the app but never actually delivered it. Tried talking directly to the store and all they said is you are not our customer, you are a customer of drizzly. This is after the owner made a false claim that he would personally deliver the alcohol to my house if the driver never showed up. DONT ORDER DELIVERY FROM THEM UNLESS YOU WANT TO RISK YOUR MONEY BEING STOLEN. I believe they are working together with their couriers to swindle customers.
