Really cool concept! I’m sure it’s delicious to any adventurous eater. I’m truly disappointed they had no traditional chocolate or vanilla flavor. Don’t walk or ride up from DC attractions looking for a traditional milk bar but if you’re the adventurous type this is definitely for you. Look at the menu flavors are either peanut butter or cereal.
Way overpriced and way too sweet to actually enjoy. Plus the employee making my shake stopped to help other customers in line (no big deal), but then never went back to finish my order until after finishing all the other orders behind me...? She asked if there was something I needed waiting by the counter to get her attention and I reminded her of my order, which at this time was just sitting on the counter melting. I got an unapologetic sorry and that was that. Color me unimpressed.
Some very good cookie options. Cookies were prepackaged, which was unexpected, but delicious nonetheless. My daughter loved the cereal milk soft serve.
A classic, must-try dessert shop. Cereal milk soft serve is yummy and refreshing. The milk bar “crack” pie is great - we found it tasted better after taking it home and letting it sit in the fridge for a bit. The staff were friendly and offered generous samples.Gotta watch the Chefs table documentary on the founder before going - she has an inspiring story and helps you appreciate the dessert so much more (not that you need much help)
Honestly, quite disappointing. Not with the staff or this particular store but with Milk Bar in general. How do you mess up soft serve? I was expecting “cereal milk” ice cream to be sweet, but it tastes like the milk from corn flakes (yuck). Not sure about any other menu item but if the ice cream isn’t good, can anything else be?

Ordered from uber eats. And omg gluten free options finally! Got the marshmallow cookie and bday cake both gluten free specifically.The cookie is freaking amazing I regret not getting the 3 pack.I havent tried the gluten free cake yet.Am grateful to have another gluten free dessert option cuz not many places offer this for those of us with celiac disease.
Lavondae D was wonderful! The red velvet cake was definitely worth trying. The milk bar pie was most definitely not worth trying. Disappointed in the cost compared to how thin and small the slice was.
Excellent cakes and milkshakes. Staff is always friendly and efficient. Definitely try the bday cake shake and if you really love that go for the bday truffles. They do have a really good truffle and Shake combo that I would recommend. Plenty of parking in their lot located on the corner of 15th and Church Street Northwest.
