I placed an online order on January 14th. I went to pick it up and realized that it was the wrong batch of bourbon. I asked to return it and was incorrectly told that it was the only batch in stock. The order was then cancelled and I was told that the refund was processed on the 17th. It is now February 2nd and I still have not received it. I contacted the store again to tell them I had not received the refund and I have not received a response. I am shocked by how unprofessional this is.
I am a regular here. Was there around 3:55 pm on 12/31/2021.There was a guy not wearing a mask - not following the DC Covid policy. I asked help to the African American cashier (in orange color t-shirt) to confront the no masking guy. The cashier responded “YOU CAN GO TELL HIM YOURSELF”. Is this a joke? So your job is literally just being a cashier? Hope the store manger can find a better person to replace this unprofessional arrogant cashier.To the cashier — hope you get the Covid and suffer. Good luck ?

If you like wine this place is for you. Metro has a great wine selection.
Great selection of local / regional craft beer and cider. For wine, they have a good variety including some of my harder to find favorites like Slovenian whites and Austrian Grüner Veltliner. The staff are always helpful. Just be prepared for narrow aisles.

Great bourbon selection including some hard to find rare ones. Prices on your typical bottles were pretty good but they seemed a bit above market on some of the more rare bottles. That being said, I may just be out-dated on my pricing knowledge. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Great store. Would recommend for whiskey fans.

They have a great wine selection, so if you know exactly what you want, you can probably find it here, but the staff are not very knowledgeable about the different wines, so if you're looking for an informative experience while checking out different wines, that is not going to be here. I did have a good experience getting wine delivered from here during the pandemic, though, so they do care about making sure you receive your product, and they are an honest business.
